Geekay Posted February 18, 2015 Report Posted February 18, 2015 saw this'n on FB: 50DodgePNLcross.jpg Very nice...bit worried about the "cross" on the door though...looks more like something found on a grave...maybe the fire brigade are not very successful Quote
HanksB3B Posted February 18, 2015 Report Posted February 18, 2015 And well they should be. It is not something that should ever be used in an urban environment. Bad ricochets are a very real possibility. But out in the desert brush they are quite effective.......and they can't really go off by accident. Jeff You'll Shoot Your Eye Out ! Hank 1 Quote
Jeff Balazs Posted February 18, 2015 Report Posted February 18, 2015 Hank; Of all the great movie characters.....I have always identified with Ralphie. I didn't grow up in a place you could freeze your nuts off but other than that it was very similar. I didn't get the BB gun though......until many years later. I think Mom was afraid (rightfully)I would shoot my little sister. Finally when I was about 45 my Dad presented me with a Red Ryder at Christmas one year. My kids got a big hoot out of that. In fact everyone but my sister thought it was pretty darn funny. She was constantly ratting me out to Mom.....and I have been known to hold a grudge a long spell. I am fairly certain she sleeps with one eye open Jeff Quote
Don Coatney Posted February 18, 2015 Report Posted February 18, 2015 True story, my mother carried a BB in her thumb for close to 50 years thanks to her brother Don whom I am named after. Quote

Larry Leibhart Posted February 20, 2015 Report Posted February 20, 2015 Not an old picture....just interesting. Almost makes you wonder if it was a staged picture. The thermometer looks too new and someone has went to the effort of applying herbicide around the building. Quote
Todd B Posted February 20, 2015 Report Posted February 20, 2015 I spray round around all my buildings & line up of old dodge trucks. Staged or not (which I think not) its dam cool. Quote
BigDaddyO Posted February 21, 2015 Report Posted February 21, 2015 This isn't a Ma Mopar but it is unique. 1 Quote
BigDaddyO Posted February 21, 2015 Report Posted February 21, 2015 (edited) Along the same 'twin engine' theme... These were twin flathead engined Ford trucks built to haul bomber parts during ww2. I like the way both powerplants along with transmissions slide out the front on a 'tray' for maintenance. Also notice each engine drives it's own rear axle.
