1940plymouth Posted November 14, 2010 Report Posted November 14, 2010 Cooper and I went for a nice ride this morning along the back roads of Sullivan and Ulster counties. Not many more of these type of days left for this year, just had to take advantage:) Hope everyone is having as good a day and Cooper and I are. Bob Quote
greg g Posted November 14, 2010 Report Posted November 14, 2010 Clouding up here already, looks like you got out and about just in time. I did a couple of small projects and though about taking a ride, but now it look like rain's coming. Quote
Rodney Bullock Posted November 14, 2010 Report Posted November 14, 2010 Bob, I had a great time today. I was out with the 55 Chevy speeding and burning rubber. I am ashame of myself:cool: peeling out and squelling tires scaring old people GEE LIFE IS GOOD! Quote
oldodge41 Posted November 14, 2010 Report Posted November 14, 2010 Great pics as always Bob. My daughter and I had mine out for a ride today too. We got some sprinkles just as we got home, but no rain yet. Quote
1940plymouth Posted November 14, 2010 Author Report Posted November 14, 2010 so far we have been spared the rain, although it has clouded up, good photo of the Dodge with the church in the back ground. There is something about Churches and old one room schoolhouses as backgrounds with these old MOPARs Quote

Just gray skies and off and on drizzle. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted November 14, 2010 Report Posted November 14, 2010 yeah..anyone can take a drive..go out and cut some oak firewood..that is not hard either..but the distance I had to carry it to the trailer made it a bit tough...beautiful days we are having here also Quote
RobertKB Posted November 14, 2010 Report Posted November 14, 2010 I also took advantage of the great fall weather we have been having. After the coldest spring and summer on record, we have probably had the nicest Indian Summer I have ever known. So far in southern Alberta, we have missed all the snow the rest of western Canada has had. Long may it continue. Pictures show my '53 Plymouth in a couple of my favourite local locations to drive to. The first is in bright sun, then it has clouded over, sunny when I got back to my garage, and finally the old girl parked after a great time out. Anyone else out and about today? Quote
55 Fargo Posted November 15, 2010 Report Posted November 15, 2010 I also had my 47 out today, didn't go to far, went to the car wash, and washed the underside, had a nice ride.........Fred Quote
oldodge41 Posted November 15, 2010 Report Posted November 15, 2010 Great pics RobertKB. I like the garaged pic. I need to get one of mine in the garage. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted November 15, 2010 Report Posted November 15, 2010 way to come in there Shel..we know who the ants and the grasshoppers are for sure...actually I liked the film on the crack spider the best... Quote
RobertKB Posted November 15, 2010 Report Posted November 15, 2010 way to come in there Shel..we know who the ants and the grasshoppers are for sure...actually I liked the film on the crack spider the best... But it's fun being a grasshopper! Don't drive my cars in the winter and it looks like snow arrives tomorrow. I'll be an ant starting then. Quote
thrashingcows Posted November 15, 2010 Report Posted November 15, 2010 Great pics guys!! You guys get those cars out far too often... Quote
Frank Elder Posted November 15, 2010 Report Posted November 15, 2010 way to come in there Shel..we know who the ants and the grasshoppers are for sure...actually I liked the film on the crack spider the best... The ant was waiting for the grasshopper to weaken...... Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted November 15, 2010 Report Posted November 15, 2010 the ant stocked up on firewoood and assualt weapons ammunition...and with a modified trigger pull, even if the ant weakens he is still effective.. Quote
greg g Posted November 15, 2010 Report Posted November 15, 2010 Hey Shel, my brother has a 60 foot cherry tree he wants to take down. It out of my comfort sphere,as its close to his pool. You wanta take a shot at it??? He is willing to pay. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted November 15, 2010 Report Posted November 15, 2010 The best I could do was walk by the car and look at it in the garage. Had to work at the office Sat morning, do other things the rest of the day. Stuff all day Sunday as well. Weather was cool and pleasant. Ah Well. Another day for a ride I guess. Nice pics gentlemen.
