I just tried to open Pete's site. It has been Hijacked, has some Palistinian message, and set of my virus blocker software. I hope nothing got through and I hope that all Pete work and information have not been corupted. His ther two links sem to be OK.

I wonder if by visiting it, it will give them acess to our computers?

It is too bad as that was one heck of a great website to visit. He has posted some beautiful photos of both his car and surrounding scenery.

Thanks Greg for the heads up

I found that my www.oldwillysforum.com site had been hacked Sunday morning...

Apparently, the hackers did something to Network Solutions, the web host for my sites. I'm not the only one who was hacked, apparently it was widespread.

It took me four hours to get my willys forum back up and running, I had to re-load the entire site. Thankfully, none of the database was compromised.

I didn't even think to look at my Plymouth site... I checked my office website and it was ok. Went to my Plymouth site this morning to get a link for the transmission page, and found the jihadist **************.:mad::mad:

I have all of it fixed, I think, but the blog. Working on trying to restore the blog now, but it may be gone.

Fargin Bastiges, as Greg G would say...

Maybe someone from Hezbollah wants to buy Pete's car. I hear they've got plenty of money.

In that case, it's not for sale...

This pain in the a$$ was a humbling realization to me of how small the world has become. To think that my lowly Plymouth website was turned into a banner ad for Palestinian jihadists...

Pete, glad you got it fixed. When I first got me '37, yours was won of the first sites I found. Before I saw your site, I was thinking of a V8 in the car. After seeing your engine, I decided to stay with the flathead. I've seen a lot of nice engines since I've been on here, but it's like your first girlfriend, it's the one that always stands out.

Thanks Ed... I hope the site continues to inspire folks like yourself to keep the faith and keep the six. I was pretty worried for a while that 10 years of upkeep on the site was lost... It would have been too much to consider to re-create the site from scratch. I have all of the original files on my computer, which are backed up, but it is pretty dis-organised... Time to do some housekeeping methinks.

Gerald-

No idea how they got in... apparently they launched an attack on Network Solutions, as many of their customers had the same issue.

I've been chatting with Rich over on oldplymouths.com, and he was attacked with spammers, sending 1400 pms to the members with virus links. He had to turn off the pm system on his forum to sort it out.

You'd think these guys would have something better to do.
