Vin Tag

can anyone tell me where i can get a vintag for a 1940 dodge and 1 for a 1948 dodge i had a fire in the building i was storing all my small parts while i was restoring both cars and getting them ready for paint lost a lot of small parts which i have slowly been replacing but so far no one can tell me where i can fine Vin tags that look like the ones that cam with the cars

A pillars, black on silver rectangualar plate thats Serial Number. these cars preceded the VIN system by a number of years.

Open the driver's side door check the pillar between the dash and the doorsill you should find 2 holes where the tag used to be.

I believe some Dodge units have their plate on the drivers door A post...just in case you can't find it in one place..check the other..

Prewar should be on the passenger side door hinge post. Post war should be on the driver side door post.

Looking at their catalog PDF for group 18 (Body), I see lots of reproduction tags but not the plain serial number tag found on the 1930s and 1940s Plymouths. Do you have their part number for that tag?
