  1. they use to be a guy in CT that restored them can't remember his name not even sure he is still alive maybe someone might know him he did a really nice job he was able to replace missing parts and match the colors
  2. well Tim this one will get done i startedlooking to into this about 2 months ago and im still looking and learning i'll be sure of what im doing before i even put a line on the car itself i know it easy to chop it but hard to put it back together so i will keep doing my home work before anything gets cut Tom

    can anyone tell me where i can get a vintag for a 1940 dodge and 1 for a 1948 dodge i had a fire in the building i was storing all my small parts while i was restoring both cars and getting them ready for paint lost a lot of small parts which i have slowly been replacing but so far no one can tell me where i can fine Vin tags that look like the ones that cam with the cars
  8. if you look into what mopar did with there steering exhaust problem in the last reply the guy said to move the motor over about 2 inches well that is just what mopar did to make things fit so believe him move it over oh by the way im building a 1948 dodge coupe
  9. hey guys and girls can anyone tell if the made more than 1 center hood hinge or not my dodge has what looks like its made of pot metal i have a guy that tells me he has one made of stainless true or not ?????

    can anyone tell me where the vin Tag on the 1940 dodge and the 1948 dodge is (on the door on the firewall or where) and is there a way to get i vin tag like the one that came on the cars ???
  11. i have a d24 and like you i don't like the grille for the street rod look i have picked up a 48 plymouth grille and it will fit but again not sure i will like it in the dodge make it look to much like a plymoutj so now i have a 49 dodge grille and between the 48 plymouth and the 49 dodge im useing psrts from both to make a coustom grille from the 2 i'll post pic's when its done and show you how it looks
  12. the bumper are really nice for a daily driver stright and very little surface rust but remember they are 61 years old if i wasn't going another way with the bumper for the car i would use them no arm rest, no sunvisors or radiator if you pay the shipping i'll ship

  14. hey guys and girls i have tried selling some parts on here a cheply as come and get them and nothing so this will be the last try here the way i will try if you need parts ofr your 48dodge coupe and i have them let me know make me an offer if nothing go's this time i will HAVE to do something i haven't wanted to do and that it make a trip to tha scrap yard or put it out for the trash man to have I REALLY HATE TO JUNK ALL THE STUFF I HAVE IM SURE SOMEONE CAN USE MOST OF IT but its been hanging around over 2 years and now its out of here cuhemida@aol.com or cal me at 215 378 5724
