Thanks for posting. Those are really interesting photos and reminds everyone that once upon a time, in another historical time zone, these cars were brand new. Car haulers are pretty cool also. Notice the Stude truck for the Stude cars.

I was noticing that each company used a tractor unit of their own brand - Dodge

for Chrysler products, Ford for Fords, etc. Nice pics.

good picture of the 51 Studes heading off to the dealerships...gotta love those ugly nosed mommas and of other interest..check out the drivers uniform..back when there was a little professionalism in business..

Remember my granddad talking about guys who used to driving those carriers, (he worked for Bill Rapp Pontiac in Syracuse) drivers used to sleep in the trucks (no sleeper) and not most comfortable driving. Not like the what drivers have today, luxury liners if you will!:rolleyes:

Interesting... I've never posted anything on the HAMB. I've looked at their forum a few times, but this group is more my style. I posted that link on the Pilot House forum here. I guess someone liked it here and shared it there.
