RobertKB
Thanks for posting. Those are really interesting photos and reminds everyone that once upon a time, in another historical time zone, these cars were brand new. Car haulers are pretty cool also. Notice the Stude truck for the Stude cars.
BobT-47P15
I was noticing that each company used a tractor unit of their own brand - Dodge for Chrysler products, Ford for Fords, etc. Nice pics.

I was just about to do it anyway. Car haulers sure have come a long way, haven't they? Merle

norrism1
Remember my granddad talking about guys who used to driving those carriers, (he worked for Bill Rapp Pontiac in Syracuse) drivers used to sleep in the trucks (no sleeper) and not most comfortable driving. Not like the what drivers have today, luxury liners if you will!
P-12 Tommy
I drove tractor-trailer for 18 years and the older trucks with no power steering and air sucked. Macks and Volvos. Tom
Merle Coggins
Merle your bucket link was posted onthe HAMB was that your post there??? Interesting... I've never posted anything on the HAMB. I've looked at their forum a few times, but this group is more my style. I posted that link on the Pilot House forum here. I guess someone liked it here and shared it there. Merle
Rodney Bullock
I have got to get a time machine;) WoW what a great set of pictures. You know those Studebaker pic's are totally awesome. It makes today's car industry look like a half wit rag tag set up. That's for posting...made my day.
