Gary, we all wish and dream. I know a guy that's in my club that has a 36 chrysler coupe. It's all in parts scattered in his garage. I think about 8 months ago he asked if I wanted it. I told him I was enjoying a moment of bliss by not having a project. I now need to talk to him again. If I street rod that thang I would be on top of the world.:D oop's I just woke up;)The wife hit me with a steering wheel!

Old Woolie,

You are being crucified man...stand up and defend yourself. There is nothing wrong with your mindset it is just a minority here.

I once pm'ed GTK to remove me from the roster and revoke my membership because I was frustrated with certain individuals and thought no way I could stay here, glad I was wrong.

You do not have to read or answer every post...it's just a car, I will miss you if that is your decision. Act not in haste or everything else will be a waste.

Last chance to not be a hot head lurker, you had to know this would end badly....

...you know - I'll bet old woolie has a sense of humour and is chuckling to himself reading the responses to his "last" posting :)

That's it, I'm gone. Seen 3 or 4 more posts about putting gm stuff in Mopars. No need of it. Don't like it. Won't listen to it. Gone. Probably won't be missed. Don't care. Gone.

Years ago we built cars to go to carshows that were 20 or 30 miles away so it didn't matter if it ran and drove like late 1940's cars did. Nothing against originality but 1940 technology is going to drive like 1940 technology. I enjoy driving across a few states to a weekend show and driving home before work on Monday. So a 4000+ lb car with no A/C, crappy brakes, loose steering, and 90 horsepower that tops out at an RPM screaming 65 miles an hour in just not an option for a long trip. It takes a lot of years of car work to be skilled enough to build something that uses technology from different manufacturers and make a well built street machine. That's nothing to be pissed at someone about.
