longtops
Was foolin around yesterday at the garage with a very small tack hammer, swatted at a flying insect with the hammer ,head came off ,no more side glass in the coronet! Now I need to know how to remove the inner door handle. Is it the same smaller size C clip used on most older cars?Has anyone else had this kind of unexpected event? Really makes one feel soooo stupid!
greg g
If not the clip then a pin. Might have to compress a spring then move a small collar then move push the pin out.
Norm's Coupe
Greg gave the answer for getting the pin or clip off. Now.........to help prevent flying hammers while trying to kill a bee, maybe invest in a fly swatter to hang in the garage. If it flies off, it won't hurt anything. You can even swat the bee or fly while it's on the glass.

I can post the three pages for you if it will help. Regards, Frank

Normspeed
Longtops you need to use the proper tool. For flying insects I use a 3 lb sledge.

Cutting your phone line and internet cable with a post hole digger: PRICELESS! The phone co just got my service working late morning today. Here's your files. Let me know if you need more. Young Ed
That reminds me of one of friends when he still lived with his parents in their townhouse. The cable cord for some reason was just on the ground. Every month or so the lawn mower service would mow over or weed wack the cord in 2 and he'd have to call to get it fixed again. They finally smartened up and moved it.
