Reg Evans
Dave, Are you looking for one of these ? Before I list it on the Bay you can have first crack at it. No key.

Reg Evans
No Key, You'd have to have one made.
Don Coatney
I bet Mike Maker can make a key for that lock. Send it to him for a key and Mike can send it to Dave.
bobaloo11
I noticed on my truck, there is only a lock on the passenger door. Is the door a transplant or is that something that came that way... though it makes no sense.
Young Ed
It was and atleast in MN still is illegal to enter a car from the street. That and probably a cost savings of only having one lock was the reason
Guest Dave Claussen
Yes, it came that way. The idea was to lock the drivers door by pushing the door handle in the reverse direction (from the inside), then slide across the seat and exit through the passenger door and then lock the passenger door from the outside. Reverse that procedure for entry. Interestingly, trucks made with a right hand side steering wheel have the door lock on the opposite side, or so I've heard. Reg Evans
As soon as it stops raining I'll go down to my little swampy bone yard and have a look. Don't be afraid to remind me if you don't hear pretty soon.
pflaming
Those of you who daily drive your trucks, have any of you put lock on the driver's side, if so how?
Frank Elder
It doesn't look any different than the car lock on my 47 dodge, might be a way to use it and the guts from inside a car door to modify your truck door.
Merle Coggins
The latch assemblies are different, left and right. The Driver's side one doesn't have the part that the outside lock connects to. Would the cars use the same latch assemblies? I'm gonna guess not. Frank Elder
It would be an undertaking to make a bellcrank, assumtion rarely works.
