Rodney Bullock Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 Everyone has such fine automobles, It's nice to see them. Don is "The" most popular guy on this forum. He is a lot of fun and serves as a diplomat across this nation. I am very proud to know him. Here are some other fine folks from the forum. Chet, Greg and Don, I had to take the pic Quote

Captain Neon Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 This is Me, Fiance and my Plymouth. on a Nice fall day There must be something about old car guys that attract pretty girls. To look at me, you'd never think my wife would have been interested in me. Maybe they just love us for our cars... I need a picture of my wife and me with the P15. Maybe this spring... Quote
bigred48 Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 In my case the girl came before the car, her dad was actually the one that helped me find it and lets me store it in there shed so I'm a lucky guy indeed. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 I spoke on the phone a few evenings ago to Clay Diggs, a forum member who lives in Arkansas, about 50 miles or so from Memphis. He said he enjoys reading the forum, but doesn't post much. Like several others on here, he hasn't yet mastered the posting of photos. So I offered to put up pics of his P15 coupe and pilothouse pickup.....he said OK. It was an enjoyable conversation and hopefully we can meet at some time in the future. Quote
Normspeed Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 BigRed, your car looks outstanding in that color. Bob, what's up in the background of Clay's P15 shot? BTW also a really great color for a P15. Quote
Captain Neon Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 In my case the girl came before the car, her dad was actually the one that helped me find it and lets me store it in there shed so I'm a lucky guy indeed. I couldn't help but notice all the guys who included attractive women with their pictures. I remembered the HS girlfriend that dumped me a few weeks after my P15 went into winter storage, and then once spring came around wanting to get back together. She said that she missed riding in my car. I told her that she should find her own old car, then, because she wasn't riding in mine again. It takes a special gal to put up with the highs and lows this hobby brings about. My wife grew up with old cars, and my father-in-law kids me that he wouldn't have let me marry his daughter were it not for my P15. Quote
Normspeed Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 One of you folks have the original poster, from The Big Race Numero Uno? I'd like to copy that one for my screen saver. The original is framed and hanging on my office wall at home. Here is a picture of it but I think Pete has a much better picture of it on his website. Quote

You're lucky the plymouth club guys didn't stop and look at that car when we saw it. Small world story on our annual fall tour we spotted his car for sale but were on our way to something and didn't stop to look. Later that year I saw it again on this site with a new owner! Quote
Young Ed Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 Like Ben I need a better picture of the G/F with me and the car. You can barely see her in this one Quote
Normspeed Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 That's the one Don. Sort of a cross between a poster for The Endless Summer and the High Plains Drifter. Very 60's. moparjack44 Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 Our family last summer. I'm the tall and handsome guy looking into brighter future We don't really care which one is you, tell us more about your beautiful wife:D . Nice Dodge. What's the weather like in Findland? I am very geography challanged, so tell me about the climate where you are? Do you have four seasons. or isn't it cold most of the time? How cold does it get, how hot does it get? Just curious. BobT-47P15 Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 Earlier, littleman posted a picture of himself and Chance Moore, who lives not far from Nashville. Last summer, Chance was kind enough to invite me to his home and showed me his car collection. He has this nifty, original patina 49 Plymouth woody wagon. And to prove that he gets it out on the road, here it is at the Lane Motor Museum in Nashville -- a tour taken by Chance, Me, and Don Coatney. That ladder sticking out the back - he picked up out of the middle of the highway on his way to the museum. Quote
moparjack44 Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 Keeping with the 'old guys' theme. I'm the one without the orange collar. Jack Quote
