boxer_inv Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 Did you see the '46 sedan on there too? Dang! - that thing looks straight... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cars-Trucks___1946-DODGE-SEDAN-FLUID-DRIVE-14K-ORIGINAL-MILES_W0QQitemZ220277680675QQddnZCarsQ20Q26Q20TrucksQQddiZ2282QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item220277680675&_trkparms=39%3A1%7C65%3A-1%7C240%3A1307&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245 Quote
Young Ed Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 I switched it to show 46-48. Before I even found Gregs sedans I found this beast. What a mess. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cars-Trucks___1946-Dodge-Panel-Hot-Rat-Rod-Delivery-Rare-NO-RESERVE_W0QQitemZ110286032511QQddnZCarsQ20Q26Q20TrucksQQddiZ2282QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item110286032511&_trkparms=39%3A1%7C65%3A-1%7C240%3A1308&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245 Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 Ed...funny but I saw that one also..I really likes the lines of that beast..go ahead and grab that thing if its in your back yard and I'll meet you half way between your place and mine and trade you a 60 panel with Fatman suspension, 9 in gear and set up for V8 drop in...I could probably be talked out of a 302 4BBl engine with 4 speed automatic..so..we got a deal???? woodscavenger Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 That is sweet! I live in Idaho but that would be about a 7 hour drive for me to see it. What a great truck! Quote
Young Ed Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 Have you guys lost it or are you being sarcastic?? Quote
Andydodge Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 love the billet style dash insert.........lol........the custom built gear shift, the fine craftsmanship in the way the top radiator hose hooks up..........lol......words fail me........lol......still its better than being scrapped. Quote
greg g Posted September 10, 2008 Author Report Posted September 10, 2008 That radiator hose adaptation was necessitated due to the installation of the famous MOPAR Slat 6 Quote
Young Ed Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 Ya that doesn't seem that bad. The trucks from the factory have a steel elbow in the lower radiator hose with 2 pieces of straight hose. This isn't much different. Quote

Reg Evans Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 Have you guys lost it or are you being sarcastic?? Oh Man....the guy blew it. He could have applied some wood grained contact paper on the new dash before the rivits went on. Quote
old woolie Posted September 11, 2008 Report Posted September 11, 2008 That panel is better than most of the stuff we find in fields around here. The dash is pretty crude though. Quote
Young Ed Posted September 11, 2008 Report Posted September 11, 2008 Along to the dash you can add the fenders. The front ones have been lengthened and look odd and the rear ones are off a 40-41 plymouth. Judging by the other crude work thats visible I can only imagine how those fenders were modified to fit.
