    Yes I do believe the second hole is for a windshield washer tube that comes (from the jiffy jet bottle in the engine compartment)through the top of the dash and a hole in the divider bar......nozzles point at each pane.

    Nice mod...I was always told to have at least 2 or 3 threads protruding from the nut, less chance for failure.......are you going to blow it back apart and address the rust issues?

    @Conn47D24 Paint the back of the dash gloss white.....you can thank me later when you are standing on your head trying to see what you are doing......lol.

    This topic reminds me of an old joke......I still have my great grampa's hammer all original, the head replaced twice and the handle three times....lol. I guess what I'm saying is if you have the skills modify it, or build your own but don't trust that wimpy harbor freight product with your ungainly engine.?.

    @RobertKB they have upped my dose from 600 mgs to 800 mgs......the designation has changed from D 24 to D 25......lol!

    I would've left every single one of those bullet holes and the damaged hood ornament alone as a testament to the trucks survival...... but it is not my truck and I look forward to seeing the history of your trucks's Resurrection.
