  1. The butterfly hood setup is visually pleasing, very re stricting also. I Know a onesy has been in a car mag, Ive seen it. He chopped the top, Put round parking lamps in the front with a square tube grill, and it was orangish with yellow flame job. I can remember all that doo-doo but not if it was an aftermarket or homemade? Obrother in Omaha!
  2. Loved your PBR comment am recovering slowly, &%#%@ kareoke nites hope I did'nt sing! Back at hand I will search from the keel to the crows nest but am not overly optimistic.
  3. Well okay, so I'm no Henny Youngman. I am using quite a few of my stash parts to match the backend of the 47 CC to my homebuilt teardrop, except I really don't want the rear bumper to say fluidrive. Anyone interested in a swap?
  4. To the best of my knowledge I have never used the log out feature for our forum, until now. Immeadiatly my pc popped up with a warning ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO LOG OUT ? so being the chicken I am The CANCEL option was quickly chosen! Will LOG OUT cancel my membership, or does it simply log out with the option to return to the forum freely? I've always just used the big red X. Not so fearless Frankie
  5. Can the 1 piece hood fit the D-24? And if so, what is involved? ON a more serious note, does anyone have the cure for mucho cerveza [PBR&Pickled Eggs] ands bad culinary choices? GROAN!!!!!!!
  6. Figured out how to downsize, sure as shooting[bet you thought the other s-word sailor] but can't get how to upsize them when after they were made too small. No matter how tiny they are the members profile won't upload them. Some are so bad they look like crumpled tinfoil. I'll change the setting on my camera, and hopefully they won't need such drastic measures!
  7. I am going to try a photo! Everyone cross their fingers and toes, TIM, you can cross your eyes. I've seen your beer goggles picture. hahahaha!
  8. I had a 49 2-dr sedan and a 4-dr model sedan, and both of them had problems with d-side hood hinges. You would go to close the hood and the hinge would stay up and if you did'nt catch it quick enuff, bad things happened! Only hurt the hood a little, 1 creased corner, never to be a good aligned panel again. Have you ever had this misfortune? The fall back is, is that both were solid dependable cars I would drive them any time any place ! I just wish they were as sweet as your aunt Margaret! FRANKIE
  9. You saw all the crust on the hood right? The only MS paint I could think of was going to require More Sanding! Jokers to the right of me Clowns to the left of me, Stuck in the middle again!
  10. Thank you one and all! I tried to shrink the snap down on WINDOWS PHOTO GALLERY and was only partially succesful. The picture size option worked, but after going to 640x480 it tried to make me register a new user account with WIZARD something or other? Am always wary of hidden charges and did not think I should persue that course. Please, if in the know about this, WIZARD, I could use the help. Randroid that visor came off a 1948 D-24 4-door cdan. Someone had rattlecanned it rusto green and black, with JD yellow rims! When it became obvious to even me that it was a Fulton, a $ was come to and I took it home. The coupay is a s.dak. survivor, straight and runs. Frankie
  11. TRIED to log on to that attatchment, it said I did not belong.
  12. Thank you for photobucket. That is the direction I am heading but, what I was asking was max size for everyone else so no adjustment is needed. Right now my size is 2304x1728 and I am woefully ignorant on how to change sizes much less upload them to photobucket and then on to this forum. I hope you guys can dumb this down enough so this rookie can absorb it. Even PB SITE was scraping the barnacles off my brain! Frank Tim you are killing me with kindness, how are you going to get anything done with frank around?
  13. What is a size I can post for viewing that everyone can see without having to adjust the screen? Also would like the same for posting on members list. Keep it in the channel not on the keel ....po3 frank !
  14. Has anyone tried a vaccum operated cowl vent to supply ram air to their induction system? Like an airgrabber on a GTX. Limited benefits or sheer idiocy? Don't be shy in either direction I think it is an interesting concept. TIM I DID IT! THANK YOU! Frank
  15. Terrific topper ! The application could not be anymore thought provoking. What really gets me revving is what made you go to that option. Could you list other tops that did'nt make the cut ? The strangest I ever used was 2 small Frisbee Pie tins on a Holley 500 cfm 2 bbl ! My very first repy to this wonderful site , Frankie
