  1. The road pictures are great. Thats what I think of when someone sya Minnesota. When we were little kids my dad would let us drive on the Gunflint trail. It was a gravel road and we were in a dark green 48 Plymouth. Good pictures, just what I needed today.
  2. Driving around in an old car could be considered wierd too. It's just a matter of how far you want to take it. For some, the more, the better.
  3. Here in Fred'burg VA playing with the oldest son's toys. Cute in an ugly sorta way.
  4. Looks like it was made from an old Buick.
  5. I enjoy my kids too, but I wonder about them sometimes. They're in their mid forties and one has a Jaguar and the other has two Wartburgs! Where did I go wrong?
  6. Not having a filter has no effect on the regulator valve.
  7. If I remember right, that foot rest was covered with hog hair carpet. That definitely is a battery cut off sawitch with a very clever home-made remote cable on it.
  8. Easy-outs are neither easy nor do they come out. How they manage to sell them I do not know.
  9. Well, that is good news. Now that you can breath a little easier, give thanks and enjoy life.
  10. Niether of the heads in my stuff have a P or a D, but the one on my car is way better. It has my initials cast in it! Can't beat that!
  11. A word to the wise, check your local regulations before you buy.
  12. You do sound excited. And well you should. There is nothing wrong with a little fun.
  13. If you don't have a catalytic converter, I don't see what could be damaged.
  14. I have never had an easy out work. They always end up broken off and I'm lucky if I get the stump out. I would try a lot of pentrating oil, heat, maybe that 50/50 acetone trans fluid mixture and then more heat. Kroil if you've got it, PB Blaster and anything else you can get it. Easy outs are one of those "good ideas" that just don't work, for me, anyway.
  15. You dont put in more than a quart of gas and remove most of the mount bolts and the radiator and exhaust pipe when you do that. The tricky part is getting the axles out of the transmission. Keep the headrest up.
  16. Falconvan, will you be selling the rear springs off the p-15? If so, send me a price. Thanks.
  17. You might try a fortune teller, but I bet you get the same answer.
  18. Have you ever seen a Barkas?
  19. P-15 parking lights won't fit your fenders.
  20. A take off on " Don't tell my mother I'm a Ford dealer, she thinks I'm a burglar".
  21. Well, good luck on that! See you later when you come up for air.
  22. Mine did that too, it has to be tightened more than you think. Crank it down.
  23. Can't Sleep, Clowns will eat me.
  24. I agree, its a beautiful combination. Is there a better way to avoid a honeydo list? I don't think so.
  25. I tried that once, but then I didn't have an airbag.
