  1. There should be plenty of 215/75R15 in the junk yard and they'll be a good size tire for you. 205/75R15 will work too.
  2. The exhaust manifold to exhaust pipe gasket was originally asbestos, along with the exhaust manifold to block gasket. Just try not to eat them.
  3. What happens in the garage, stays in the garage.
  4. Thats just creepy.
  5. Are the wheels of different diameters??
  6. Sorry, I meant Ebay. I keep having these senior moments.
  7. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&&item=320855499450&ssPageName=ADME:B:EF:US:1120
  8. I even creak, too.
  9. Looks like a rocker molding inside that P-15 coupe!
  10. Whether they are right or wrong, I suggest you take them back and get alost any other brand plug. Champion quality is in the sewer.
  11. I am disappointed that he didn't recommend using duct tape. it fixes everything else. And you can make it as long as you need it to be.
  12. It looks like a bolt threaded thru a welded nut.
  13. Scotty, 'cmon over and measure up mine and you can copy them.
  14. I'd try connecting my air compressor to the tank outlet to see if I could blow the filter off. You'll have another in-line filter on the car anyway.
  15. You can tell a 230 from a 218 without removing the head by measuring the stroke through the hole in the head over number 6. Take out the 1/8 pipe plug and use a piece of wire to measure with.
  16. Thats what I thought too, but when your going sideways at 65, snow piles just upset you a little. The trees stop you.
  17. Those trees are a little too close to the road for my comfort. I learned that the hard way.
  18. That last one really is great. Of course they are all very good, but that head-on shot is gooder.
  19. Thanks, glad to hear I did some good thinking for once.
  20. Tim, thanks for the memory jog, I have many Jerry Clower tapes put away and now I think I'll go get them and run them through once more. Ya gotta love that guy. A fertilizer guy you'd like to have for a friend. Minus the relatives.
  21. I think the ones I have seen looked like that also. I just thought thats what they did at the factory to make it squirt a better stream. I do remember thinking it looked a little crude.
  22. Yeah, thats it! Cord parts. I knew it was ACD base and I understood it was made from left over parts after the factory closed.
  23. A pinhole tiny exhaust leak can make a nasty little popping noise too. Get a length of heater hose and listen aroung that side of the engine while its running. Watch that hot pipe.
  24. Funny you should mention that. Talk here is that 80/90 gear lube as specified by Mopar has additives detrimental to the bronze synchronizers in it if you buy the stuff thats out there now. It says on it "Meets GL-5 standards." I was looking today at TSC for a gear lube that says GL-4 on it, which is supposed to be safe. Couldn't find any, so now I'm thinking 50w non-detergent motor oil mixed with enough STP to make it like 80 or 90 weight gear lube. What say you, collective minds?
  25. Yeah, thats the last Deusenburg. Built in 1938, I think.
