  1. OOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooo, I see. I think.
  2. Joe's right, a second pair of eyes can save a LOT of trouble when you're lowering something big and bulky. Also, people won't think you're crazy when it looks like you're talking out loud to no one in particular.
  3. I am amazed at the beautiful cars showing up on the forum lately. Your Chrysler is something else to see. Pure class. If it were mine, I don't think I would be able to leave the garage. BTW, inquiring minds want to know, what is that dark shape hiding in the garage? Nosey? Yes.
  4. That is a beautiful car, and I'm glad to hear you respect it as being a great survivor. The woodgrain is perfect. I'm saving the pictures so I can say "thats what I want".
  5. NEED MORE PICTURES Somehow they make my day better. Thanks.
  6. Thats odd, just the other day I was told my token had expired,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
  7. Pretty spiffy!
  8. If you lift by head bolts, you are really lifting by the block since thats what the bolts are threaded in to. The head becomes just a spacer.
  9. Geez, I woulda thought that would pust the plug out of aluminum threads. Coulda been worse, eh?
  10. Terrell Machine in Texas, I believe. Can't beat 'em. Get a magazine and you'll see several ads.
  11. Maybe at some point the car had an eight volt battery and the PO was trying to save the headlights. Grabbing at straws here.
  12. My humble opinion; I have used a 160 year-round since 1996. No overheat problems, however, I am sure it would run more efficiently with a 180. I'm just too lazy and cheap to change it. All thermostat and bypass housing bolts go into the water jacket area so they will all need a thread sealer. I have great success with permatex #2. This post reflects only the opinions of the poster. Your results may vary. Take two aspirin and call me in the morning.
  13. There is a screwdriver that I think is called an "electricians screwdriver". The blade is split and sliding a small sleeve causes the two halves of the blade to expand and grip the screw. Its really very neat, I got mine at an electronic supply house. I hope thats not as confusing as it sounds.
  14. Heres another old dude telling you it is indeed, beautiful. Classy is the word. Lake Winnipeg ain't bad, either.
  15. I believe it will only go in one way as the holes are not equally spaced.
  16. Unless something unforeseen happens, I expect to be there Saturday. I might even bring the Plymouth.
  17. Opel?
  18. For more info: http://www.michiana-chapter-sdc.net/Annual_Meet.html
  19. Looks like an overdrive from here.
  20. If you've got 12 volts, XM Radio is the answer. Channel 4 is all 40's and channel 5 is all 50's music. All old-time radio on Radio classics channel.
  21. I spent several years herding around a '76 Newport Custom. If I can't say anything nice about them, I won't say anything at all. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Except that shortly after that, Chrysler almost went out of business, and I know why.
  22. The only complaint I have about your traveling photo shoots with Cooper is that there are not enough pictures. I really enjoy your trips and its obvious that Cooper does too. Once a day would be good. Thanks for doing it for us.
  23. I would have had a hard time walking away from that little Plymouth. Maybe its better this way. Thanks anyway.
  24. What did I come in here for?
