  4. Sorry about this but to me that van represents all that was bad in the 70's. Wow my gag reflex has kicked in. lol
  5. seals deteriorate over that many years. I bought new ones for my 47. Why pay for NOS and find out they no longer work correctly? Just my 2 cents.
  6. PA it's not that big a deal in the grand scheme of things really.
  7. I do not understand why people get so upset with a misplaced post that it goes downhill quickly. I operate under the following premise: "If I don't like it, I ignore it." Life's way too short to fuss over stupid stuff.
  8. Paul I don't remember welding up any joints there and mine shows no joint.
  9. Paul I'll go out in a few and take a photo of mine. Seems as though they were all 1 piece. Maybe spot welded together. I'll check.
  10. Looking good. Nice feeling when they start looking complete again.
  11. when I click on the link above it says "can't find file"
  12. I was just wondering tonight how I was going to replace those.
  13. Thanks VC. That's pretty close. Sprayed over black sealer and take out the metal flake and it might just make the cut.
  14. bore the one cylinder.
  15. Rear fenders are at 220 grit with a new coat of primer/filler. Hung temporary to get them out of the way. Started on the trunk lid. First skim coat done.
  16. Like the top one much better then.
  17. I like the Plymouth way better than the PT125. Back in 2000 or so my daughter sold her 39 Chevy truck to someone in England when we were stationed near Harrogate. Black fenders and grill maroon upper.
  18. nice. I printed off the ones for my coupe. thanks
  19. The vinyl is a very dark green and the cloth is an old ivory, because my wife was born in Scotland I'm going to add a small horizontal stripe at the top of each door panel in Morrison green tartan. Dash and window trim will be burl walnut.
  20. Not looking for Mopar original or a metallic. Just looking for a dark green that is almost black. Closest so far is Ford rain forest green. But, it's not dark enough. I was thinking of putting black sealer under it.
  21. Frank do you happen to know what year?
  22. I think I mentioned somewhere in here that it's going to be a very dark green.
