  1. On my last drive my clutch release fork pull back spring fell off. I check Andy's and he doesn't list them. Anyone know where I can get another? I'll go to the hardware store and get a temp replacement but would like to get the correct one. It's part #866905
  2. Found this with a google search. Seems that it was an Austrailian school bus. http://forums.aaca.org/topic/259816-1938-dodge-bus/
  3. This isn't for sale as far as I know and I got the photo off of a facebook page. Thought that it was interesting enough to share. Captions said it was the only one made. I don't know.
  4. I removed the valve from mine but I put all 4 discs in. Works fine so far.
  5. Start looking at tartan kilt material. Not a huge difference in price but it's better.
  6. https://www.tartanregister.gov.uk/tartanDetails?ref=6 close enough?
  7. For me it would lose the ambiance. IMO buckets do not belong in older cars. Not my car though.
  8. Could be possible. But if you put in buckets you destroy the ambiance of "Old car".
  9. Fuse 1AG 3A 32 volt 5/8" search Google they sell them everywhere.
  10. I ordered some for my clock. I'll go check what they are and get back to you.
  11. Indeed they do. They do have to be anchored correctly though.
  12. Bench seat is safe enough if you have the 3 point belts.
  13. My 47 Dodge 3 window does 55mph very easily. It's fast enough for me. I'd check out those rear mounts first thing as I've heard of shifting problems caused by this before.
  14. Thanks guys I've been searching cloth covered suppression spark plug wires also.
  15. going to bring this up again as I have the same problem but I am running an altenator not a generator. So any help? Sparkplug wire the only thing to try?
  16. first one is photo shopped. auto one is humorus.
  17. I would doubt that they would paint under the floormats. I think it was blue. Maybe they changed the trunk lid.
  18. I think that I have the opposite problem. My 47 Dodge is running at 170. Unless I drive it over 5 miles at 55 mph it won't go past 160 degrees. I'm wondering if the thermostat is stuck open.
  19. You think that the original color was dark green? With the floor and trunk I'd say blue unless it's a camera flash washout.
  20. Welcome. Cool vehicle. I'd love that to restore. Any photos of the inside?
  21. I'd say yes. As you said it's a fire/short hazard.
  22. Your's will be a pretty easy fix as long as you or someone you know can do a little welding.
  23. Great idea to lable and bag as you go. Take lots of photos as well. Best before something is taken apart. That way you remember down the road how it goes back together.
  24. there are people that can make it an AM/FM/bluetooth radio for about $300.
