  1. adapt and overcome. Sometimes it's to make things work and sometimes to save a buck or two. What ever works and is safe.
  2. don't need the alternator. hot wire from bat to coil, hot to starter solenoid, and ground.
  3. Found the "before" photos.
  4. I agree with Sam. You'd have to carry lots of spare parts and tools to be "prepared". Just have it hauled home and work on it when you want in comfort.
  5. Should be shown in the main forum. Not off topic. I've polished some pieces of steel to look like chrome. Not an easy job. Can't imagine the sore muscles from doing this. Super nice Plymouth.
  6. Ahh no. I'll pass. lol
  7. looking pretty good. way better than it did.
  8. can't remove this
  9. Picked up the finished seats from the upholsterer today. Super pleased with them and I'm very picky on vinyl seats.
  10. Dave I saw that your wheels were blasted and painted. How's the build going?
  11. I'd drive it. I like the little miniature cars.
  12. New mounts will at least make the body line back up. Just remember and mark where each shim comes from and put it back there. I didn't drive my coupe before the new mounts so can't answer that. If any mount is metal to metal they yes the noise will be reduced. If not removing the body it isn't too hard, just do one side at a time.
  13. Where'd you buy it? I bought my first set at Andy Bernbaums. Didn't fit worth a darn. Second set I bought off of ebay and they were made in Brazil with no maker's name of the bag. Fit perfectly. They were most likely a one off buy. I'd try Steele's rubber.
  14. good luck with it.
  15. Looks like chocolate.
  16. I bought my dual Offenhauser intake off of ebay.
  17. There's many videos youtube about this process. I've watched a few of them
  18. I just ordered LED headlights for my truck and wife's car. Both take a single bulb with high/low.
  19. Thanks. Took some time to get it that way but I'm happy with it.
  20. Little dents and dings don't take a lot of work or money to fix but will really show in the end.
  21. It looks pretty good in the photo. Now's the time to make sure it's perfect. Problems show really well when the paint goes on. lol
  22. The headliner is in. took me about 10 hours to get it where it looks decent.
  23. If he doesn't know it's a 46 and thinks it's a 42 I see two problems. 1. Price for a 42 would be higher than a 46 as not many 42's were made. 2. His title is wrong.
