Is your Desoto a coupe or sedan? In my opinion the Chrysler looks a bit better. 42 will be rarer as well. I'd check the vin and title first though.

Biggest thing is having to pull the trans again to get it sealed properly. Engine stuff is just pidley stuff.

Finally got some time to start and break in the rebuilt engine. Small things popped up. Leaking fuel line, trans leaking at the front will have to pull and reseal, a few minutes after I ended the video the top water hose popped off spraying antifreeze everywhere. I bought those NOS off of ebay. Still in the box and looked perfect. Dry rotted. Give a little tug and rip. I'd stay away from them. I had an upholsterer make slip ons to cover the cream cloth from dirt. $150. He supplied the matching color vinyl.

I am retired but stay on the night shift schedule that I've worked for the last 15 years. The wife is still on night shift. Only bad thing is no one is open to run down and get a part.
