  1. Pull the tube and look for cracks, There should be a brass flare fitting on the block, and the the steel oil tube should have the mating flare fitting.
  2. Make sure you have both axles mounted with backing plates bolted on before measuring.
  3. How about we move this thread to the Technical Archives and make it a sticky?
  4. Welch plug on front of tranny case properly set? Gasket in place between bell housing and tranny?
  5. Couple things going on. Some ads are directly sold by me (I.E. Roberts, Andy Berbaum, etc. They are identified by p5-d24.ads.com in the lower corner. The other ads come from a service called Google Adsense. I have subscriber to their "automotive" thread hence they reason you see a mix of automotive based ads. Google also tracks your activity and will often display ads that are based on sites you have visited or searched.
  6. Weird as it sounds the truck use a hardline plumbed all the way to the dash pass thru. I did another thread on the a while back to see what other owners have installed. No fled line. I think their is even a factory pic in the Bunn book that shows just a hard line.
  7. I have dealt with Geoff at Airetta and he knows his stuff.
  8. Those on a truck chassis? Looks like one ton wheels and dual at the back.
  9. I have purchase 3 different sets from Kepich. All fit great and had no issues with installation or quality. I had one issue where the exhaust connection to the manifold was different than stock and he took care of the issue immediately. Would buy from him again.
  10. Welcome to the community! Cool project.
  11. Nope , won't work. Cowl is a different shape.
  12. Don't need a puller to pull the drum on the 1 tons. Pull the axle, remove the nut and they should slide off. If they are binding you need to retract the shoes.
  13. Seems like the chrome housing is probably crimped on the brass center piece after they were painted at the factory. Wondering if their is any way to get the bars center out and be able to recrimp the housing.
  14. I'm thinking using a squeegee to press the clay into the lettering indents, paint the black then remove the clay with toothpick and rag.
  15. I'm still struggling with this issue. Seem like painting the letters first then masking with a product like modeling clay would be viable. Any one come up with a way to get a clean edge where the chrome overlaps?
  16. Close up pic please!
  17. The real winner would be getting ahold of one of the Aussie hemi inline 6…..
  18. Please post the solution when you find it.
  19. Better than bankruptcy. Looking at the current track record of Fiat since they took over they have done a way better job then the old M Bentz ownership group. And Fiat seems to get the importance of building global platforms but with local flavor, for example the new Dodge Dart.
  20. You should check more often… Now is 1,100 days and 500 results. WIll soon have a new search engine that will end those restrictions.
  21. Excellent job and excellent report! I'm going to move this to the Technical Archives so it will be easier to fine.
  22. FYI, a used narrow water pump pulley, a wide crank pulley and a vibration damper are all available in the P15-D24 store here.
  23. Really need to check the cannister for inlet/outlet labels. I have seen them reversed on identical looking cannisters.
