    Where is that VW yard? I may need a part or two. Will return to my VW kit car after Christmas. will be in touch. Lyme infection still has me at a very slow pace.

    I got a one day permit. Local police office said to test drive locally until i get caught then use the permit. Not so strict out here in the country.

    I’m not going to change anything. It apparently was driven in the desert so it should have the proper suspension for fun driving. I have a river near by, a great place to give it some challenges.

    I’m very curious how my Sportster will drive. It has a thick metal body, so may ride respectable. The short wheel base will make it a very positive drive I think. I have January plans for it.

    They best advertisement is personal invitation. I promote as often as I can. I have had at least four accept and attend, some repeating. I have one invited this year already, so, each one bring one.

    I have a floor shifter designed and fabricated for my suburban. It is for the standard three speed transmission and or for the r 10 transmission. It would be easily copied, so I’m just going to use it myself and not promote it in anyway. I’m too old to promote it,

    I’ve used Rusty Hope on two vehicles. I don’t support companies who duplicate others designs. I asked Rusty about that, he said the cost to pursue is not worth the trouble. I like those kink of folk.

    I now can work about two hours in the shop. Thursday felt good and worked hard for about five hours, which included some floor work. Friday and Saturday I slept around the clock. Feel fairly good tonight. Fatigue, brain fog, week muscles, especially the legs, still persist. Chromic pain has subsided. Bad stuff and I caught it within the first 10 days and went on antibiotics for 28 days. So if the ticks are in your area, wear tight clothing’ and check yourself after being in an area where they might be.

    If she has Lyme disease and does not know it, find out asap. The longer it goes untreated, the worse it affects the body and the harder it is to control it. Some say it cannot be eradicated, only kept in check. I’m six months into the infection and only now getting some relief. Proof I was bit by a tick.

    I will not change the cab mounts, tks. Yes, I removed the 2nd from the bottom leaf on all four springs. That lowered the truck 2” for a much better ride and even better for cornering by lowering the center of gravity. I love to drive this truck. Will swap in a different engine with a T5 transmission. Then I will have a really nice cruiser. I also changed the rear dilfferencial to 3.73. Can now easily cruise with the semis and pass at will. I have sound deadening of the floor, maybe add a good matt also. See you at the BBQ be sure to bring your beauty shotgun rider.

    How difficult is it to put new body mounts in a B3B. I getting ready to repair my truck, this is one area that i may address. I’m thinking the old hard mounts probably contribute to inside noise along with a harder ride. I’m very slowly recovering from Lyme infection from a tick bite in June in Maine. Its a tough disease.

    Today paid $70 for an electrical fuel pump same pump I paid $20+ for one year ago! Maybe I should rebuild my mechanical pump. Are new kits new fuel friendly?

    1, roof painting, how does one paint a.vehicle’s roof so there is no overlap in the middle. 2. must I remove the oil pump to correct the very loose connection between the pump and the distributor shaft?
