  1. That, my fellow members, is spectacular, note the fish in the sharks mouth. Nature as it is.
  2. Just two tone. I don’t like the 52 paint on the trunk!
  3. With two tone paint will have a hardtop look. Ilikeit!
  4. A part of his collection. I’m going to go see it all.
  5. I have a 3:73 in my truck, which has a 218. It would not climb the long up grade of Pacheco Pass,Ca in 3rd gear. 2nd was my shoice and then ihadto stay far right so cars could zip by, 2nd and OD would have been very nice.
  6. This is a grain drill, most likely wheat.. but unique because it first turned over the stubble of the last crop then planted the seed behind, both in one operation.
  7. yes, R-10 G -1 MOPAR OD. Where do I find them, sorry, that is off limits! LOL, there has been no pattern for finding them, but they are out there. 218 C.I. MOPAR flathead. I now have two of them
  8. You point out too many probables. Too old to do them, so will not make the swap. That leaves me with a nice engine and R10 overdrive to do something with. I’m in a serious downsizing program. Will ship the truck to my daughter in Indiana, then sell everything by spring. I plan to have an empty shop by spring.
  9. I have come across a car 218 with R10 overdrive. My truck needs an engine, so I want to put this in there. I think all I need is to add the cross member tor the rear engine mounts. Is that correct?
  10. I saw these today. Who knows what they were used for? I hadn’t seen such for decades!
  11. We have one, a homing pigeon. With now two teenagers. But it appears that will end next spring. The younger generation is different.
  12. How long is that engine. I’m wondering if the Dodges used the longer, 25” engine.
  13. On the back is an orchard sprayer. Probably for citrus!
  14. Now for some bright green rims!LOL
  15. I had to put in a new axle seal. I could not put that drum back on the same shoes. Problem: the axle grease had coated the drum and shoes, then having sat for years, turned into a sticky substance. I cleaned both drum and shoes with acetone and all was resolved!
  16. Not to be a dumb ass, but just uninformed, where is that? Did some research, as a novice, I still do not know all the nomenclature, I.e., spindle/axle nut!
  17. I like pan fried Halibut, And a couple of east coast deep fried oysters. Great combo.
  18. New parts are here. Bought this today for $35.00. Will modify to fit the Sportster. Suburban brake challenge and 103+/- weather has slowed the projects. Out early tomorrow morning. Getting frustrated and anxious!
  19. Foiled again. The hub was too small for the machine, so no new surface. Two braked shops said they hand sanded their oversized shoes to fit using Emory cloth! older car blues.
  20. We better build our cars now, before the govt shuts us down with education, commerce, churches, and restaurants!
  21. Tin foil from a gum wrapper won’t work? LOL
  22. If you did not like the one above, maybe this one will catch your fancy.
  23. The drums needed turning anyway, so try that first. Then find a shoe place if required. TKS
  24. 1) bottom pivot adjustment bolts too large for new shoes, Emory cloth and elbow grease worked, 2) shoes too large for drums, drums at machine shop, back tomorrow evening, scratch $30 for the pair. questions, are these normal problems?
