  1. OK then..........Vertically challenged and big boned.
  2. Just but some short fat ones.
  3. Here's a photo of my drivers side mirror. I bought these about 10 or more years ago at my local NAPA store. I did a search of rear view mirrors online at NAPA and after scrolling past over 1600 mirrors I found it !!!!! http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/Result.aspx?Ntt%3dBK%2b7302691%26Ntk%3dKeyword%26Nty%3d1%26Dn%3d0%26D%3dBK%2b7302691%26Dk%3d1%26Dp%3d3%26N%3d0 They are reversible for driver or passenger sides and they fold inward if you bump them on something. Napa part # BK 7302691
  4. I did have a set several years ago but I sold it to Charles Furman, from this forum, when to bottom dropped out of the economy. It's the only set I've ever seen. The term Hens Teeth is appropriate here.
  5. Here's a milling chart to give you an idea of how much milling required to reach a certain compression ratio.
  6. That's most likely a result of using detergent oil in an engine with old deposits and sludge. I don't remember if you rebuilt your engine and had the block tanked or not but that's my guess. I run non-detergent oil in my 35 Dodge for just that reason and the oil stays nearly clear up until it's time for an oil change unlike it did with detergent oil.
  7. Clean it real well to remove all oils and spray it with clear coat or black paint or install a steering wheel cover.
  8. Hang on Tim, I thought you were "The Man With Two Wives" Talk about a support staff....you are there !
  9. Because it's more powerful than a 218 or a 230 !
  10. I'll hold him down for ya !
  11. Yeah, On that show with the bus they supposedly got $6500 to restore the little Bimbo Cruiser. It's nothing more than a little go cart with an electric motor. Pricey. Maybe, Tim, we are just jealous we don't have that much spare coinage laying around.
  12. That's what I've been doing all my life. I did a count one day about 10 years ago with my brother and we came up with more than 250 vehicles I had owned for a short time. As an example......even this was cute to me.
  13. Nah Don.........I never did need no book learnin. ggdad........From the prices he quotes on refurbishing stuff I'd be afraid to see what He'd sell it for.
  14. Cool....a 251 c.i. industrial engine. Why did you post this photo ? Is it in your truck or are you going to buy it ?
  15. This morning I was watching a recorded episode of Rick's Restorations and caught a quick glimpse of this Dodge bus as he walked by to meet the owners of a Bimbo Racer he had just restored. It sure would be fun to find one of these shorty's and bring it home. Anyone here have one ?
  16. Maybe the driver had just popped the clutch.
  17. Thanks guys. I guess I haven't misspelled something lately so I didn't get a red underline until........... noq.
  18. On the old forum I had the ability to spell check. How can I do that here ? Thanks
  19. Me too Don. I want to get me one. Oh wait....that's probably the only one on the planet.
  20. Hey Paul. Those Dodge panel trucks were called Town Wagons. Here are photos of a 55-56 and a 57.
  21. Wow...a battery from 1994. I can't seem to get more than 4 or 5 years out of mine. What brand is it ?
  22. I have one I can send you tom. What's your address ?
  23. I'm another satisfied customer of diamondback tires. Mine on my 42 Dodge Coupe are 750/16 on the rear and 650/16 on the front. Much better ride and I like the look except I wish I had ordered 700/16's for the front.
  24. Here's my 52 shortly after I got it in '97. It had no engine or trans so I installed a 50 Chrysler 251 with a 4 speed synchro. A year or so later I installed a 3.0 rear end from a '66 T-bird,painted it,and had a ladder rack made so I could carry materials to the job site. I used it daily this way for about 10 years. Now that Old Yeller and I have retired she looks like this. I can't seem to add a second photo under the first photo so they are out of order. Scroll to the bottom for the first photo and scroll back up as time progressed. Can't find spell check either. Not loving the new forum.
