  1. It truly is unmolested. Great example for the original interior door panels and .....is that the original bed wood and a fresh air heater !? Vintrader....your photo looks like the the result of the intital radiation heat wave just before the shock wave hits from an "A" bomb blast.
  2. We get visited 3 or 4 times a year by a 400 lb large hairy varmint with big teeth and claws. My garbage cans are on his route. He tears open the rubber maid 2 can enclosure and stomps my cans flat and spreads the garbage everywhere. I think I'll just leave him be and not play Davey Crockett though cause he can run faster and see better in the dark than I can.
  3. I've never owned a trailer. Just motor homes. My motor homes "house battery" is charged whenever the engine is started and run for a while by the 85 amp alternator. Does your trailer battery get re-charged from the alternator in your tow vehicle or only when you plug it in to 110 at home or at a camp site with hookups?
  4. Do you have the proper water pump for your either internal or external bypass system?
  5. My patio boat came with one deep cycle RV battery but we like to dock it at night and use the lights and radio so I added another identical battery hooked up in parallel. So far so good. I converted my previous patio boat to all electric with a 24V dual prop. 130 lb thrust trolling motor. This motor would drain the batteries in only about 1.5 hours so I bought 4 6 volt golf cart batteries and hooked them up in series for 24 volts. That doubled my range but I still wanted more juice so I added 4 720 watt solar panels on the roof. Then I could cruise all day ! Very expensive experiment though. Don't try adding a brand new battery to a used one though. The old one will drain the new one. Best to buy two identical batteries.
  6. Nice truck Mike! Welcome to the forum. I had a 1 ton years ago and found the tallest tires I could for the rear. This change made about a 10% difference in the top speed. Your earlier post said it was a 53. Either way ,if it's a 52 or 53 the original engine number should start with T306.
  7. They puff up real quick like if you throw one in your camp fire.
  8. I try to catch all the Womens undergarments ......1/2 off sales. It always turns out to be false advertising though.
  9. Paul, Here's an example. I paid $1800 for this 50 1/2 ton runner last year. It's all there but needs a restoration. It has a '59 230 truck engine.
  10. Happy B-Day Radioguy! Glad you were able to take off work and have a fun day yesterday. You deserved it.
  11. Great photos Harvey ! What are the women boiling or cooking in those big pots ?
  12. Don, Don't drive your Blue Sled anywhere right now cause if you keep that full belly of yours a-giggling right now you might have a Smorgus Board on your drivers side. Assuming you've had dinner by now.
  13. Small hand held speed blaster. Been using mine lately for small jobs. Beats cranking up my bigger one. Does the work of 3 men with wire wheels in 1/3 the time. http://cgi.ebay.com/Unitec-Speed-Blaster-Gravity-Feed-Hand-Held-Sandblaster_W0QQitemZ200340910713QQcmdZViewItemQQptZSanders_Sandblasters?hash=item2ea53fb279&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205%7C66%3A3%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A100
  14. That it ! I'm turning my 35 Dodge DU sedan into a UTE. Gotta have one and this is probably the only way it ever gonna happen. Hey......I wonder how my 51 Suburban would look as a convertible ?
  15. What about the Box springs bill ?
  16. You wood That goes against the grain
  17. The 33 Dodge is very similar to my first car in 1966. A 33 Plymouth.
  18. Very nice car ! Love those dual side mounts.
  19. Wow..neat Dodge and DeSoto pickup. The pickup sure has a wide bed. Looks like it's about 8" wider than similar vintage Dodge trucks here.
  20. Thanks Chance ! You da man. When it arrives I'll take it directly to a woodie doctor. Sounds like a simple case of Peyronie's disease to me.
  21. Yup....I think Bob said the front of the frame was cut off and the plan was to graft on something more modern. Sad:confused:
  22. Those radios are plentiful made by Mopar. Usually several for sale at once on eBay. The Motorola radio is an after market item. Don't bust your knuckles over that one.
  23. I wish you were closer too Chance cause I could be persuaded to just trade you straight across for your woodie.
  24. If the wood is gone bolt cutters will cut them right off.
  25. I don't see what you guys are worried about. He's got a auxiliary length of dog chain ( chihuahua rated ) attached to each outside corner of the tail gate with an "S" hook. Honey....where'd I leave that vakah bottle?
