  1. If you look at their site, you can order em. That model is a steal at only $169,000!
  2. Hi everybody! we went and took a closer look at that WD21 last night, I'l add more pics in a bit. I'm wondering where the heck to get parts for this thing? may be a small issue... But the real question is, what do you guys make of this oil pump? is seems to have a pipe plug at the end of it, maybe for a full flow filter? but then it still hooks up to the block like a normal oil pump. Any ideas? http://s1113.photobucket.com/user/4153dodges/library/45%20dodge%20one%20ton?sort=3&page=1
  3. thats the problem, hafta sell the 52' to make the space and money for it...
  4. It truly is setup for duals! it lacks the triangle fillers sadly, but does have the wider fenders! EDIT: evidently it isn't wide fenders, just normal. the running boards cut off at the back of the cab
  5. Hello all, I have a chance to buy a 45? dodge one ton pickup. It hasn't run in about twenty years, but still turned over by hand and is practically rust-free! Has a long bed and a 3 speed, could have duals but doesnt. The bed: rather beat up and dented bed wood is toast no fuel tank not title (have one from a parts truck) no front bumper tires are SHOT headlights are gone gauges are broken. I know a friend with a 45' WF-32 only good for parts, he has all the bits except the fuel tank. The guy wants $1000 firm, whats the general consensus for that? if it was a normal 1/2 ton, id walk away but this is rare! sadly, id have to sell the 52' to make space and money to get it, but I wouldnt mind a new start on a truck... THE PICTURES! http://s1113.photobucket.com/user/4153dodges/library/45%20dodge%20one%20ton?sort=3&page=1
  6. Grrr... so many good parts i need but so far away!
  7. an S10 T5 transmission is the generally accepted best transplant, there is even a kit available to mount it and it requires little modification. only problem is the lack of an e-brake!
  8. 52 b4b, factory front, 1 ton rear springs minus bottom leaf, 215/85-16, 13.5 front, 14.5 rear
  9. Indeed! I often wish I had em' myself! they were generally an option or came with the deluxe cab, but it seems that they tend to be more of a pain than they are worth generally, due to broken parts and seals.
  10. Ah. my doors were always full window, so those parts are still there, just reconditioning them to work properly again
  11. window fuzzy channel?
  12. Alright, so I think we have it agreed that: with wing windows: less than 4 feet per door Without wing windows: need the 8 foot section for each door
  13. Suppose I should specify that I don't have vent windows, just solid windows. I would measure, but I am ordering parts while I am still at college right now, that way I can put em on when I get home!
  14. The search option didn't yield any good results, so here it goes! Dodge Central has window channel by the 8' length, does anybody know if I would need one or two to do both doors on a truck?
  15. Certainly a good start, welcome to the forum!
  16. So how does the stuff work out as far as putting it upside-down? for that matter, how does it hold up to wisconisin's wild weather changes?
  17. Could you please? I would greatly appreciate it
  18. Sadly my truck has no radio cutout! Is there any chance anybody has any measurements of it as far as placement? Thanks! Josh
  19. Hello all, my friend got me a pair of mopar 819 radios, he said they look like the photo of a 53' PH radio. does anybody know what they go in? Maybe if they look close enough I will install it just for the heck of having a radio. Thanks! Josh
  20. I believe it goes on the engine side, because I remember it being a pain to install!
  21. So while I am looking at a driveline swap, I figured maybe it would be wise to look into axle swaps too. the 5 lug budd wheels are a royal pain up here, it is just dayton cast wheels all over the place though! I know I found a picture once of a heavy 40's dodge with cast wheels, but I can't turn it up again! would this be a wise swap? A friend of mine has a bunch of old converted trucks that have those axles, so likely better brakes, ratios, parts ability, and wheels. Any thoughts?
  22. It is actually about the same physical size as a 6bt, just has a date tag from 65' and a different head. Its about 38" from fan blade to bellhousing, so it would definately need some cutting to fit, but not too bad id think
  23. Starter and flywheel are present, turbo still spins like new. Oil looks almost new too. Seems like it has potential to work again
  24. Alright, in an attempt to clarify things and get things back on subject, this is a scrapyard, not really a car junkyard. The yard man remembers running it in a loader in 85', which was scrapped. The engine stayed, the rest is history. The idea is, how feasible is this idea of putting it in the 41', it had a 25" block originally. It is evidently not a 6bt, but its much older brother from about 65'
