  1. ok, the design process is well underway, but would somebody please take a few measurements for us? I would do it myself, but the truck is scattered all over the garage. First off, what is the distance from the top of the flat area on the bellhousing, right above the trans, to the bottom of the floor pan. then, a measurement from the back of said bellhousing to the back of the opening in the floor. Thanks! Josh
  2. well, i have one cleaned up and painted grey if somebody needs one!
  3. I found the telescoping type in 2 trucks.
  4. I seem to have found a "P" head on my pile-o-parts. as I understand, this was D for dodge and P for plymouth, but the only thread I could dig up with the search simply referred to the "elusive "P" head", and didnt find anything else, seeing as one cannot simply search for a "P" head. so, is there something special about it or what? I think i CC'd it to 100cc stock, so...
  5. pretty sure anything over 3/4 ton didn't have hubcaps, maybe a slip on one, but nothing related to the pickups.
  6. one does, one of the deeper pocket heads has a date of 6.5.51
  7. likely the 75 cc one, arent they supposed to be 85cc?
  8. I have 2 pairs of heads off 218/230's, regular short 23" blocks, a pair of each style. They both bolt on, but one has a deeper but shorter head chamber, while the others have a longer but shallower chamber. the shallow ones have about 75CC while the deeper ones have about 100cc. whats goin on here? Im going to mill one either way, but where did these come from and why are they different? industrial and automotive?

  10. they are, but I am not getting them, parents would kill me!
  11. AND THE THING IS STILL FREAKIN' THERE! somebody bought the grille, some wheels, doors and some gauges! motor is still intact, and i think its workable
  12. I certainly would! go get it!
  13. alright, five speed T5 OD
  14. hello all, time for another wacky engineering idea! How many of you want to upgrade to a newer trans, but want to keep the column shifter?
  15. hi yall, its time for another wierd engineering opinion type thing! We are looking into building some aftermarket tranny kits, how many of you would want a newer transmission with a column shifter?
  16. depending on the series, I could use the parking light assembles for a later B series.
  17. these engines seem to not care about much as far as compression, I just tore mine down to find not .067", but .246" ring end gap! the thing ran like a champ before, but its getting new rings now!
  18. now if you could make the exhaust smell like cookies, you might have something...
  19. I don't know a whole lot about the 25's,but I have heard they are interchangeable. you would get more answers by checking the search function, then post somewhere if you dont find the answer.
  20. does the trans have a PTO? I maybe interested in the two speed parts, how much of them do you have?
  21. true, but the two I removed had been either soldered shut or legitimately smashed with pliers, so it seems somebody has modded the engines in the past. one was a reman, the other was unknown, but not original. p18 engine, but not sure when it was put in.
  22. okay, on 3 of the engines I tore down so far, 2 of them had the oiler for the chain altered. one was cut and soldered, the other had the end crushed with a pair of pliers. has anybody else had this? stating to seem like a common thing here...

  24. left one looks like b1-b2 middle looks like b3-b4 right one is a b-series, but thats all i can tell. gotta look closer to the doors.
