  5. My dad always used Fleet Farm batteries and loved them, I assume they are the same as your Southern Farm & Fleet but not sure. Many years ago I used Fleet Farm batteries with my construction equipment and had terrible luck so I switched to Interstate batteries and I have very few problems with them. This is way over my head but would low voltage cause the spark plug to do that??
  6. Amazing history, thanks for sharing.
  7. Congrats Merle or should I say Grampa, You forgot to add that the two of you just moved into a new home pretty darn close to me (35 minute drive). I plan on taking advantage of that this winter.

  13. That was amazing, our forefathers were amazingly smart to build factory's and engines in the amount of time they did. Interesting how long that would take today with all the different government agencies sticking there nose in to control things. Thank you for sharing,

  15. Don't stop with the help, you are the most knowledgeable person I know on the big rigs. I used to enjoy correcting my woodshop teacher, it made me feel smarter than I really was. Thanks for all your input. Todd B

  19. I just spent some time catching up on this thread. I am still trying to figure out how Mark would handle a STRANGER hauling his truck down the road when he almost had the big one when his Nephew touched his truck improperly!! I am thinking he might make the AAA driver cry.
  20. I have the same jack And wrenches I found in the 2.5 ton 1953 I found in Minnesota
  21. The floor looks very nice, make sure you keep a finish on poplar though. Does not last long in the weather with out a finish.
  22. Glad to hear both your trucks only go 50. You wouldn't want to discriminate.
  23. Congrats Mark & Linda, I am glad to see you found your dream place so fast. I witnessed your patience level when you where trying to sell your house. Great find, Todd
