  1. if a GGW then 6001k is DODGE application...51-53 and also the same as the Plymouth 1950-55 there is no -K for a Chrysler or DeSoto of the era. I cannot find any data on a -C except some possible reference as this is the pulley size and one that states it was a truck model with a 40 amp out instead of the 45 amp out. My book has no truck data....sorry this may be of little help to you.
  2. setback...are you certain on the second letter...I have GGW numbers but no GCW numbers
  3. yes, if the tag on the Chrysler is green it will be 12 volts and I do not have a book for the 12v generator.
  4. they exhausted all their pizzas....
  5. if you had the model numbers listed instead of part number I could look them up...I do not have output/capacity specs by part#....only by model...where model is not the year car but the model # as found on the data tag attached to the component
  6. I worked the B1B Lancer electronic warfare system for 17 years until my DoD retirement......
  7. thanks for the pictures...was not sure how well one could see the vacuum control for the two speed, I admit I have only seen one in the last 15 years and that was just a glance and not looking close, I am sure this will help others (if they take the time to search the forum correctly)
  8. and to this end it is a great boon to those of us who can take advantage of the military surplus outlet picking items that are still in service date constraints but NLA for the facility and thus disposed of...I have a 1/2 gallon container of molybdenum disulfide powder......buy a teaspoon of that stuff today... I paid 5.00 for this huge container...shelf life, as long as it is on my shelf it has life...? its a dry powder that I mix to the consistency I need when I need it...
  9. I know many cases where it say, inspect and return to stock...sorry but I am not buying your clear cut explanation....many products have an inspection date...and if found bad on inspection usually destroyed by lot/batch but if good is given a continuation of service/shelf life.....
  10. by not knowing that rear feature you point out by asking for the picture of the front as it would then be known if or in not a two speed........which was an effective question as the picture was quickly posted...,,to help in the future maybe you could post a pic of the Eaton 1350 two speed...
  11. many products with an expiration date especially in Mil Spec are simply a reminder to inspect at that date....it is not always an absolute....
  12. if you are sure you bought a vented cap...I would inspect it closely to assure there is nothing plugging the aperture...
  13. I use 12.2 Dodge disc and 16's are an excellent fit....
  14. Two sender same issue.....don't sound good, report on this forum however, anyone that buys one of these in the future are now duly warned to watch close to the build, take precaution as needed based on the pre installation inspection to correct and not have to revisit the scene of the crime.
  15. I ask this as on the average most all other steering wheels are set up in this fashion...tapped holes for the puller...
  16. I have a large press plate that is similar to the pic you show that will probably be the first thing in my hands to review for application on this pulley... good luck with the steering wheel...for the record, is the metal boss one that could withstand a drill and tap process to utilize the standard pullers often used here...? just throwing that out....
  17. I'll take your word on it.....thank you....I have never had much of a reaction to b-stings. then late one evening I ran over a yellow jacket nest with the mower....when I turned I ran straight into the swarm...I gave them a running John Deere yard tractor and they hit me 43 times for the gesture......I monitored my BP and pulse quite close and popped a couple Benadryl for good measure...sipped a coffee as a I watched to see where the were entering the ground....at fall of dark, Dr. Death paid them a visit in the form of gasoline and a torch...I get nervous now around sting bees/wasps....this was the type incident that pushed my grandmother to an Epi-pen lifestyle.. the nest was a pie plate size a few inches into the dirt, digging it up I then found a second pie plate nest a few inches below the first...a modern duplex if you will...
  18. I am working a small engine that does not have any description or photograph on the style or technique to remove the crank shaft pulley....It is hollow inside with a slight bell shape and super close to the aluminum timing chain cover at the rear...NO threaded holes for the puller to use bolts...am not fond of putting puller to v's of the belt...will prove to be interesting if nothing else...nothing on the internet for the year make and engine model...
  19. hope you do not hit a snag...the big three sisters had electric wipers but they also a wider separation when installed compared to the Plymouth...approx. one inch...
  20. I see spidy things.....
  21. do yourself a favor and search the internet...headlight connector wiring diagram....go to images...there are a host of pictures to aid you...
  22. thanks tooljunkie, good catch, while I did not pay attention to his marking I saw he had them marked and assumed he had tested this....but yes, his as shown, has his markings running contrary to normal three prong headlight wiring...
  23. back in the day they were riveted from the factory only the rivets were solid head....would have to see a pic of this device....sounds wickedly cheaply built....about normal for most stuff today.
  24. in his picture, he clearly has ground, high and low marked on the bulb identifying each blade....
