Guest P15-D24 Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 Follow the link to the Downloads page on the main site: http://www40.addr.com/~merc583/mopar/framesets/softwareframeset.html Many thanks to Allan Faust for putting it together. His note follows: Could you find some room to "post" this somewhere in the downloads section and let others know that it is available??? Let them also know that if they use it, a forum donation on my behalf would be appreciated.Allan Quote
David Maxwell Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 ...that April was my birthday month? Or was it just a coincidence? Quote
Robin (UK) Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 Allan, It's a surprise, and very flattering, to see my car on the calendar. Thank you for including it. I agree with David... you must be slightly psychic. The picture you've used for January was taken on 1st January 2005 (at a friend's wedding). Coincidence?... Or something more?... You decide!!! Young Ed Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 Allan Calendar looks great. Especially October What's a good method of printing these? Quote
Dwight Pectol Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 Thanks Allen for using "Blue Bell" for Septembers picture. I'm honored DW Quote
Allan Faust Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 Ok, Just to stem any rumors... I'm not psychic..... just luck of the draw.... Second, if people would like to send me some other hi res pics of their ride for "future" editions (via email) you may do so... also I want to do a second calander (that I call diamonds in the rough), but I need some hi res pics of "works in progress" that show the whole car.... and I'll ship it to GTK once its done... As for printing, any color printer will do.... As for the pictures, I tried to use different peoples cars than last year (at least different pics) but I wanted to make sure I had some hi res pics to use for it (sometimes I wanted a pic, but it wouldn't show up well stretched to the size I needed). And for one car in particular, I do have to admit that Pete is an incredible photographer in my opinion... his pics just blow me away... the car, the scenery, the style....(can't wait to get my 50 done... and get my photographer wife to take pics... I can't do it worth squat). I didn't want to insult anyone by including or not including your car, because they are all fine cars, and you are all fine friends...... but I'd rather have a calander of my friends cars on my wall than all the other ones produced out there... it makes me feel special. And at the same time, if any donations are given to the site because of it, it helps my "second home" stay around longer... and I'm happy.... happy holidays to all.. Allan Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 Nice work...great selection of cars featured..now...how about a calender for the guys who are WORKS IN PROGRESS.....????? Get both sides of the coin... Quote
Allan Faust Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 Tim, put your glasses on (and send me a pic) and read the first paragraph again of the comment I made (send me a pic) just above yours....(send me a pic) and once you re-read that first paragraph.... send me a pic... (get the hint????) Allan Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 silly me...did not read down far enough before I posted...thanks..sorry to be a problem...guilty of reading out of order sometimes... Quote
Young Ed Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 Tim if you'd just finish something you could join us in the calendar Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 Ed..then the fun is gone...some day..am not in any hurry really...refuse to cut a corner just to sit behind a wheel..I bought 13 license plates this year...10 are motorized vehicles..not like I don't have something to drive...went back out after talking to you on the phone and soldered the last of the pin holes in the gas tank of the Spit..as fo this morning still no leaks...maybe (with fingers crossed and puckered cheeks) Quote
Young Ed Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 I was expecting a "well I can't finish when people don't send me the parts..."haha. Both my projects are on the road but I don't consider either one done. They are rolling resto's. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 Ed..I'm trying to be good...biting my lip when I can...helping little old ladies across the street as it is very close to Christmas and I have many parts and tools that dance like sugar plums before my eyes.. Quote
greg g Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 Hey Allen, nice job as usual. Might want to consider on for the guys on the other side of the street, ya know them pilot house cousins. Also maybe one for those not so fortunate fellows who populate the board but drive things other than P's and D's. I know you inlcuded eds truck but we got Chryslers, and Desotos, and older and newer vehicles also. I know it is a lot of work, but some of the other mopar flatheads are needing some recognition also. Quote
Allan Faust Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 That is exactly what I wanted to do today, pop in a message to have em send me a high end pic via email... just haven't got a round tuit yet..... my mom had one, but I don't yet.... Allan Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 Thanks for using the pic Allan. The calendar looks great. I think your additional idea about works in progress in good, also. Bob Quote
