Dennis Hemingway Posted July 16, 2008 Report Posted July 16, 2008 What about MikeMaker? He hasn't been on here in a long time. Hope he is OK. Dennis:cool: Quote
Young Ed Posted July 16, 2008 Report Posted July 16, 2008 I've heard from Reg. He just posted on the truck side. I think he might have been sampling the offerings in his garage instead of posting here. Quote
Reg Evans Posted July 16, 2008 Report Posted July 16, 2008 Cough...Cough...Cough..... I'm still here Don. Thanks for your concern. The air has cleared up some because the Delta Breeze finally kicked in but man...that was a tough 3 week period. It was 100 - 109 degrees every day and I could barely see the bottom of my property. Quote
Reg Evans Posted July 16, 2008 Report Posted July 16, 2008 Thanks Norm. The threat of fire does not scare me as much as my next birthday does. I'm 59 11/12 and not really liking the idea of the big 6 OH much !!!! Quote
Johnny S Posted July 16, 2008 Report Posted July 16, 2008 Reg....always consider the alternative! Quote
Niel Hoback Posted July 16, 2008 Report Posted July 16, 2008 I'll be 65 tomorrow and I don't want to hear any talk about the alternative ! Quote

greg g Posted July 16, 2008 Report Posted July 16, 2008 Reg, I 'm close behind you, about 3 months and a couple of days to go. Think of it as the 39th anniversary of your your 21st birthday. Easier numbers to deal with. Quote
Rodney Bullock Posted July 16, 2008 Report Posted July 16, 2008 Cough...Cough...Cough..... I'm still here Don. Thanks for your concern. The air has cleared up some because the Delta Breeze finally kicked in but man...that was a tough 3 week period. It was 100 - 109 degrees every day and I could barely see the bottom of my property. Don Coatney Posted July 16, 2008 Author Report Posted July 16, 2008 Thanks Norm. The threat of fire does not scare me as much as my next birthday does. I'm 59 11/12 and not really liking the idea of the big 6 OH much !!!! Reg; Six 0 was a piece of cake. I think I remember it well:D I'll be 65 tomorrow and I don't want to hear any talk about the alternative ! Niel; Let me be the first to wish you a happy birthday. Happy trails.... From one Indiana cow poke to another.... That was so funny I fell off my little stool:D glad everything is ok Rodney; No way you can fit on a little stool:cool: Quote
Niel Hoback Posted July 16, 2008 Report Posted July 16, 2008 Don, thank you very much. That picture really gave me a good chuckle. How could you possibly have remembered that? Sometimes you are amazing. Quote
Reg Evans Posted July 16, 2008 Report Posted July 16, 2008 I've heard from Reg. He just posted on the truck side. I think he might have been sampling the offerings in his garage instead of posting here. Ed, Is this what you are referring to? These fellas stopped by and stayed a little too long. Any way......Happy B-Day to all the rest of you. I'll raise my mason jar to ya now. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted July 17, 2008 Report Posted July 17, 2008 Don't feel bad, Reg. On Sat July 26th I will hit the big 65. At this age, new words begin creeping into your vocabulary. Like " Medicare", "Supplement", "Part D" and others. Guess I won't have too much time for cake and ice cream as have to play a music job that afternoon/evening, then go to the Elks Lodge to participate in a "Blast From The Past" show after that. It's one of those lip sync to the oldies type shows. The first annual last year was a lot of fun. Well, now, here we have one down, and plenty to go...... Happy Birthday to you other July celebrants. Quote
Dennis Hemingway Posted July 17, 2008 Report Posted July 17, 2008 Thanks Norm. The threat of fire does not scare me as much as my next birthday does. I'm 59 11/12 and not really liking the idea of the big 6 OH much !!!! Reg, I turned 60 last August and I also retired on the same day and I'm enjoying both. Dennis:D Quote
Young Ed Posted July 17, 2008 Report Posted July 17, 2008 Reg that is exactly the sign I was referring to. The picture with the mason jar proves my theory! Bob we share a birthday. I'll be 29 on the 26th. We are leaving for Detroit on the following day so I'm not sure I'll have the opportunity to party too much... Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted July 17, 2008 Report Posted July 17, 2008 My good friend told me yesterday that his brother lives in California part time (winter) and Ohio for the summers...he had just gotten to Ohio when a neighbor called, evauacting his area for fires...he lost everything, couple Porsches and a few vintage VW's...tough news to swallow... Quote
Reg Evans Posted July 17, 2008 Report Posted July 17, 2008 Ouch ! And I thought I had it bad turning 60 while breathing bad air and drinking rot gut. Truely sorry to hear that Tim. What part of Calif. ? Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted July 17, 2008 Report Posted July 17, 2008 Sorry Reg..did not get the township...I feel for Andy...most of the cars were undergoing resto and thus not insured..that is the down side of the hobby... Quote
