Sorry, Dave. A Millennial here 😅 Plymouthy is correct, TS - stands for topic starter, this is similar to OP (original poster). I'll make sure to watch my vulgar internet jargon...

As for the vacuum advance - I do not remember what I had, down south, I just dialed it all the way up, and then took it down an inch, to be safe :)

It's Florida, TS is for Tropical Storm.

As for the vacuum, I dialed mine up to 22 then backed it down to 21. Idles great and runs fantastic. The highest I ever got mine on a Carter was 23, but the idle was too low.

Thanks Ivan.  I'm so old school I had to look up "millennials" for a proper time period.  I still find the use of actual words so much easier to understand and better at conveying thoughts and ideas than a letter or two.  My personal opinion is it's a shame we've become lazy in our speech and language skills and losing our ability to articulate effectively.  I'll plead ignorant now and step down off the soapbox.  Millennials do know what a "soapbox" is, I assume.

some even know what soap is for.........going back to the heat of the shop now and continue cleaning......I am not making much headway and dragging my feet and that is no lie.....just to hot right now.....and it is cooler in the shop than outdoors, so working with the doors closed yet.

So, would this carb connect to the automatic choke like my stock carb?

I have never seen one of the automatic chokes on these cars. If you want to post a couple of pictures of your carburetor I can compare them to the new carburetor and see if it looks like it would work. There was an extra bracket on the carburetor that I removed that didn't do anything on my car.

If you are talking about a D6H2 with a Sisson, I have one and took a picture of the choke lever side.  The choke moves in the same direction, but it looks like the choke rod from the Sisson would need to be able to adapt to the UN2.  Maye graft the Sisson rod to the UN2 rod? The stock air cleaner wouldn't fit.

I just wanted to post a little update on the performance of this new carburetor. Now that it is finally starting to cool off in Florida I've been starting to drive the car more. I wish I had bought this carburetor years ago, in almost 25 years of owning the car it's never run this great. It runs so smooth and idles so good now. It has more power and it just runs cleaner. I used to always have some exhaust odor and that's virtually gone now. I probably rebuilt that old carburetor 10 times over the years and it never ran this good.

Oh yeah and no more leaks.
