If that fails, he might become a "plug" himself (best worst case scenario).

It's almost time!

Wash your truck and drive it here!

It's go time!

Look past the dents and see the magic!

It's the right time!

Make your Mark! Make your sandwich!

It's TRUCK TIME!

Is it time yet?

Burning questions for the year:

  1. what/who is on the dash plaque
  2. will JT have any more cool camping stuff to show off
  3. will it be warm enough for the Kalifornians to wear shorts like me
  4. will Tim serenade us at the fire
  5. will it rain
  6. will I get sunburned
  7. will Zack live up to his reputation on the grill
  8. who will be the suprise guest (will there be one)
  9. who will win best of show

  1. what/who is on the dash plaque... a '67 Corvette / Brandon.
  2. will JT have any more cool camping stuff to show off?  Caesar can't make it this year, so I'll be camping more low-profile this time. No shower, lol...
  3. will it be warm enough for the Kalifornians to wear shorts like me. Anything above 35 is shorts weather for you. Me, jeans until it hits 80.
  4. will Tim serenade us at the fire ... or do standup?
  5. will it rain Friday - chance of rain. Saturday, sunny but chilly in the low 60s.
  6. will I get sunburned No.
  7. will Zack live up to his reputation on the grill I hope so.
  8. who will be the suprise guest (will there be one) ....and what features will she have?
  9. who will win best of show. see # 8

See replies above in "Red"....

Also, Orlando is bringing his '92 Cummins again this year and has questions about engine temp for the experts.... it's running hot despite replacing the head, t-stat, etc....

12 valve right?  i dont think he has a CAC/intercooler, in not there might be something about balance in the x over tube.  Could be water pump, rad, or blockage someplace?  I'll ping my direct contact at the plant to see if they have any other ideas.

Bummer Ceasar isn't coming he's good people.  I heard Tim has a pond, a pool is good, but a pond would be good for you....

The head was replaced with a new one (and gasket too).

Not sure what specifics on his engine are. It used to run on the cool side, now it runs on the hot side - not overheating, but he has to watch it. When under load it gets hotter and a couple times he's pulled over to let it cool. I think the water pump was replaced too....

I thought might be blockage or sediment somewhere...?

A pond for bathing? haha.... too many frogs and toads out there....

The pond is a movie reference.

Success! Completed the Rusty Hope disc brake conversion today. Looks like the truck will make the BBQ after all. OMG! What a difference! It feels like power brakes. I’m willing to discuss this process at the BBQ if anyone’s interested. There were several issues along the way. It’s not the straight up bolt on project that I imagined and the biggest hang up was the first machine I went to. That had my spindles almost two months! Any way, I’ll be there…

Dodge added the intercooler on '91.5 Cummins, which made the truck get up and go year-round.  As many parts that have been thrown at it, it might be helpful to verify temp.sensor/temp.gauge accuracy, even use a infrared thermometer to see if there are any hot spots on the head, block, radiator...if exhaust temps are over 800°F, there might be a problem with the injector pump.
