My March copy just showed up. Ive been getting HMN for over 50 yrs and always a good source of information. If you have your homework class turn to page 57.

there you will find a Mecum auction in KC where a creampuff 1950 Plymmie deluxe with 41K mi on it went for $10,500. This my friends is an outrage! (and one hellava score)

And while you have your copy open gaze upon the beauty of the 1934 Desoto Airflow on pg 48. Breathtaking.

Anyways is Hemmings still the go to mag anymore with the internet and what not? Or bird cage liner? Going to auctions is always fun.

Tried to sneak on to Concours D Elegance at Pebble Beach once with my 49 biz coupe and was promptly escorted off the property. (!!!)

Old Mopars really don't bring that much money. Everyone wants what everybody else has which is typically a Ford or Chevy. Doesn't hurt my feelings, I like buying them cheap. Funny you bring up the Airflow. I just today got offered the possible job of swapping motors in a 35 DeSoto Airflow.

Went to the Goodings car auction last year during Pebble Beach car week. Some beautiful cars. Unfortunately wasn't able to take anything home ?

I used to subscribe to HMN when it was the cat's pajamas for finding stuff...before internet days.  I haven't subscribed for a while, but would pick one up off the news stand if I needed to find something.  Now I've a friend that passes his HMN on to me when he's done with them.  To me, it's still a good reference for services mostly.  There are quite a few good operations that don't seem to do the internet thing.
