Young Ed
I don't like it. Having all 4 stainless grill bars might improve it somewhat. The colors really should be reversed though.
Don Coatney
I vote no. I dont like the hubcaps either. A vintage truck should look like a truck not a pimpmobile.
chucky07
would make a nice Valentine present for my wife:)
Bob_Koch
I've seen some red and white trucks at car shows and it can look good. It looks very 50's. but this one hasn't accomplished the right look.
Young Ed
Dodge did have some spring time specials with paint jobs similar to that. I don't know what the paint combos were on those though
48Dodger
Red and black or some other combo.....to much contrast. Looks like he painted half the truck and left the rest in primer. 48D
Falcon(63)
I agree with the "Zen Master". Colors should be reversed. Apparently, according to the bidding others apparently like it?????????????????????
Young Ed
I've been called zen master a lot lately. I have my name in my signature but I'm getting the feeling that people aren't seeing it???
Vintrader
I am not crazy about the red and white look. maybe reversed? I think Harold had the right idea for the two-tone when he did this truck. Dutch
BobT-47P15
The wheel covers look like maybe cheapie aftermarket plastic wires. Real Chrysler wire wheels would be cool...... Don't much care for his two tone treatment.....I would prefer solid red. The paint scheme could be changed, but then that would cost some more money, even doing your own work. Otherwise, it seems nice enough. Solid red......

Young Ed
Anyone good with photoshop want to give the ebay one a white roof to complete the spring time special two-tone? Maybe that would fix it.
Reg Evans
They would also need to wrap the white further to the back corner of the cab. Then maybe Ed will buy it.
Young Ed
I've got enough projects! I may have inherited a 54 international pickup recently too......
dmulhall
ummm...yeah... it is definitely different... is the first thing that comes to mind add some green and it would be a good christmas present with santa riding in the back. Dont like leaving the interior brown either. Are the rear fenders not a little square also?

Big50Dodge
I've been called zen master a lot lately. I have my name in my signature but I'm getting the feeling that people aren't seeing it??? A lot of people miss a lot of things on the web - in a hurry, not paying attention, who knows. It's best not to take it personal, don't waste time replying to it, and just move on. In keeping with the original thread - nope, don't like the paint scheme. These truck seem to look better (to me at least) in the darker colors - red, forrest green, black, dark blues, etc. Started to paint mine (just to keep from rusting more - not a good paint by any means) sunshine red. I think that was even too light of a red.
