cab weight???

I'll be lifting my cab soon and would like to know the approximate weight.  No glass, no doors.  Just bare cab.  Has anyone ever seen that listed anywhere?  Or actually weighed one?

 

My guessimate is 350-450.  If that is close, my little electric hoist in the trusses should handle it ok as it was fine with my engine and trans.

when I took mine off the frame it was in a similar configuration and it took 4 people to move it, so I would guess in the weight range you list, however I've never measured it.

lol, i found if you empty the rat's nest and debris first they are lighter 

 

i removed mine by myself but it took four of us to put it back on from all the body filler i used. LOL

I think your guess is close. When i lifted mine off, it was with my shop crane in through the door opening. When i pressure washed cab shell i rolled it around easily.

I would agree in the 300# range. I lifted mine with an old overhead rig that I used to use to lift the topper off my truck.
