This Is Interesting. Early 50's Panel Van. Free. Just go haul it away!

Fairly remote area. I'm tempted to go get it. 3 hrs drive from my place. Free! You just don't see many of these around. Would be a fun one to restore. Too bad so many front end body panels are gone. Maybe they are laying beside it in a scrap pile!  Mount Robson is Canada's Highest Mountain. It may have been some type of service truck for the tourists back in the day? Looks like a tree fell over on the cab at some point.

I already have Mopar projects on the go. Garage is full. I don't want my front yard looking like a scrap yard. I'll pass. ?

You know the drill ... deserves to be saved.

Actually those panels seem to have some rare parts. From photo rear quarter looks good, has running boards, driver side mirror.  There is a lot there to be saved.

You could actually make a camp trailer out of it.

Would I do anything with it? ... no. But if close enough I would drag it home. Whats there looks good, whats missing can be replaced.

The fenders and grill would be the same as Dodge and Fargo trucks of the same vintage, so should be able to find some. Or maybe they're in the back? It appears to be a '48-'49, but it has a '51-'53 hood.

Those rear fender inserts are priceless......lol.

I finally got mine from an Aussie 1/2 ton truck via Davin.
