casper50 Posted February 3, 2020 Report Posted February 3, 2020 I use to own a Metro 2 door many years ago. I thought this wagon was pretty neat. Especially for homemade. Quote
Merle Coggins Posted February 3, 2020 Report Posted February 3, 2020 I've seen that picture before, and I agree that a Met wagon would be pretty cool. As I understand it, Nash/AMC never made a wagon version, but may have prototyped a couple. Or maybe Austin did it on their own? Otherwise, if it is truly a one off home build there is someone out there with a great deal of metal working talent. My wife has a '59 Met that we are in the process of reviving. That's already more metal work that I want to deal with, and it's not being modified. Quote
casper50 Posted February 3, 2020 Author Report Posted February 3, 2020 (edited) This is one of the prototypes made by Pina Farina. I like the one above better than this one. Edited February 3, 2020 by casper50 Quote
RobertKB Posted February 3, 2020 Report Posted February 3, 2020 I think both of the above wagons are very attractive. I prefer the blue one just because I love blue. Quote
cheesy Posted February 12, 2020 Report Posted February 12, 2020 My wife squealed with glee at the blue Met. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted February 12, 2020 Report Posted February 12, 2020 that be one spiffy looking shooting brake... Quote
