Best Guess on Weight of PLY 47 2Dr SD body only

Anyone know approximately how much the body only of a 47 2 door sedan weighs stripped all the way down to the shell with no windows, doors or anything else).

We are planning to move it to a trailer and are figuring out how many persons it will take to pick up and move safely.  If the curb weight was just over 3000 lbs and you assume the heaviest parts would be the frame, suspension, powertrain and you then take away the other stuff like interior, doors i would guess less than 1/4 of the total weight so somewhere close to 750 lbs.  Does anyone have better guesstimate?

He laughed and then said that this is inappropriate for the forum.  Not sure what he meant.

Nick....:)....Jarhead is a nickname for a United States Marine enlisted, Squid is a nickname for a United States Navy enlisted. Since the USMC is actually a very important part of the USN there is a lot of good natured ribbing between service members. Like saying that the Marines are part of the Navy, the Marine will always answer with " The men's department of the Navy!" Or the sailor will call them sea going bellhops....etc. I won't get into the sometimes nasty jokes and jibes that abound between us, this wasn't one of those....I simply meant that when a Marine and a sailor get in a fight that sailor is usually in for a licking...lol.

Tell your Dad that the Commandant has issued a decree to all Marine personal that they may no longer call us Squids......because a squid is a intelligent life form.....lol.

Leave it to a marine to be two years late to the party.  You'll note the OP asking for the weight of the BODY only, your link doesn't answer that.
