New toy question

I picked up a new toy. The tile says it is a 1948 but I think it is in the 50's.

serial number 82580207

model B-3HHA152

i am not sure if it is a 1 1/2 ton or a 2 ton. I do know that I need an new front axle after a failed attempt at replacing king pins. Does anyone have a source of used parts in the Minneapolis Minnesota area?

i am having trouble adding a photo of the truck

B-3 says it's a '51 or '52 model year. HHA I believe is a 2 ton with 2 speed rear axle. 152 is the wheel base.

Then I run your serial number through the VIN decoder at http://www.t137.com/registry/help/decode.php and I get;

Serial Number 82580207
Year 1951
Make Dodge
Model B-3-H, B-3-HA, B-3-HH, B-3-HHA, B-3-HHS
Engine 236.6 Flathead Six
Wheelbase 128, 152, 170, 192
Rating 1 1/2 Ton
Engineering Code T316, TS-316
Plant Detroit, Michigan
Build Number 207

If you have a competent machine shop available you may be able to have that axle repaired. Where I work we have bored and bushed these before, just take it to them and let them look at it.

I used to go to this salvage yard in New London, MN when I lived there about 20 years ago. It was a great place for finding parts at that time. They let you roam and pick parts back then, Don't know if they still do:
