Dodgeb4ya
That is a factory B3/B4 series ash tray. The ash tray and slide mount are riveted to the Dash Acessory plate cover. The cigarette lighter is another part of the option. Lighter knob shown is the wrong one. Edited January 31, 2017 by Dodgeb4ya
ggdad1951
as mentioned above...here is FEF's set up (better angle than Brent's picture). I feel this is the right lighter knob as it matches the wiper knob.
jpartington
I found that ash tray for sale and I want to buy it but it does not come with the slide mount so I'm not sure if I should. Unless of course someone here has a slide mount I could purchase

jpartington
How about this dome light? To me it appears correct but maybe I'm missing something. Also same question about mounting. What does it mount to? I don't recall having a bracket or anything where it should go.

jpartington
Ok cool thank you for that. Description says that when it was being cleaned the paint was chipping off so he stripped the whole thing.
Los_Control
I have found that the metal trim on my 1949 is brass with chrome over it. Just saying it could be possible that someone removed the chrome and is now just brass. My dome light is the same size/shape as the one in the photo above. But still hanging from the wires, buried in the tattered shreds of the remaining headliner. Not sure if it is also brass.
ggdad1951
Base metal brass...just repolish and rechrome it
Los_Control
actually I kinda like the brass look, but may get them re chromed sometime down the road. Will for sure be sanding the chrome off of my dome light, maybe we could make a trade for my chrome and your brass
