MarkAubuchon Posted November 7, 2016 Report Posted November 7, 2016 Any Missoula Members, my son recently moved to this great city and as luck would have it his 2001 Civic needs a master cylinder. Any recommendation for a local mechanic would be helpful. Looks like another long haul road trip is in store for my 47. Mark Quote
knuckleharley Posted November 7, 2016 Report Posted November 7, 2016 I have never heard of a garage that couldn't handle a simple master cylinder bleed and replacement. My only advise is to tell your son to shop at Napa,Advance Auto,or somewhere similar to get prices, and to NEVER buy a safety part that is the cheapest because it WILL be Chinese junk. Always get the middle or the upper price range part when buying stuff like brake parts. The days of everybody selling quality parts has ended. Quote

If they are not willing to install the parts I want them to install,AND SHOW ME THE RECEIPTS,they can kiss my big red butt. *I* am the customer, and it is MY money being spent. Quote

I said providing your own not dictating which ones they provide and install. Quote
