mrtillie Posted October 2, 2016 Report Posted October 2, 2016 Im looking to start getting parts for my winter project. Thought id ask here for any suppliers of floor pans and sills. Quote
casper50 Posted October 2, 2016 Report Posted October 2, 2016 (edited) lots of places sell them. Some are a better fit than others. I went a different route. I found a coupe in a scrap yard and had them cut from the middle of the rear wheel well to the firewall, 18" high and 18" of floor. Both sides. They fit perfectly. Had a couple of small rust spots that were easy to fix. Total cost was $150. I'd check yards in the southwest for rust free parts. Welcome to the forum by the way. Here's my thread if you want to check the photos. Edited October 2, 2016 by casper50 1 Quote
knuckleharley Posted October 2, 2016 Report Posted October 2, 2016 Can't give you advise on the floor pans, but that car of yours sure was a major score. I wish I were smart enough to buy project cars that look that nice. BTW,where is "SK"? Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted October 3, 2016 Report Posted October 3, 2016 If I were a guessing man I would say Sasquatchaton Canada Quote

uglysteve Posted October 4, 2016 Report Posted October 4, 2016 I thought the Dodge's had the fade away type front fenders that went into the doors? Quote
knuckleharley Posted October 4, 2016 Report Posted October 4, 2016 (edited) Depends on the year. My 1942 doesn't. Edited October 4, 2016 by knuckleharley Quote

American D-24's have the fade away fenders. Canadian D-25's do not as they used a Plymouth body with Dodge badging. Quote
ptwothree Posted October 4, 2016 Report Posted October 4, 2016 Get some 18 ga. and make your own. It's a nice project that no one will see. Quote

Plus it will give you the excuse you need to buy shears,a bead roller, and a MIG welder. That right there is reason enough to make your own. Of course, you would need the MIG welder to weld in any store-bought panels,so that one is a wash. 2 Quote
