Guys, I purchased this temp gauge that I was told was for a Plymouth. Once I bought it I realized the temp pointer comes from the bottom. The gauge did not fit as the temp gauge for a Plymouth comes from the top.

If so is this temp gauge for a Dodge or some other model?

Thank goodness I found the right gauge, so I am planning on selling this one, just want to give the correct description.

I would say desoto. I used a Chrysler gauge to fix my p15 and they were both top needle.

Good catch Merle I bet it is just put together wrong. The one on the right is my P15 gauge

Just bend those small tabs that are holding the faceplate with a pocket knife and turn it around . Carefully . When you are ready to re-attach the face plate you can bend the tabs back where they should be by pushing against the tabs on a sharp , square corner of a bench . Carefully .

Agreed it looks to be put on upside down - but if you turn the face plate the correct way, won't it read at 212 or are you able to reset the needle?
