I have been thinking about it.  Have to find a good set of 16" rings that don't break the bank.

Understood on the 16 inchers. I will keep my eyes open for you.

I think it looks good with them on!  Need a darker pinstripe.

With the white rims and wide white walls the beauty ring kind of get lost. (my opinion). They would stand out much more with darker wheels and different tires, but again, that's my opinion and not something I would expect you to change.

The car is looking AWESOME. You've come a long way...

Agree. You have to look hard to even see they are there.

Had to move the coupe from the rear or (project) garage to the front parking garage before my surgery next week.  Want to the the next project inside.

Most likely the last post in this thread.  Went for my first drive in the coupe today.  A few bugs to work out yet.  Clutch pedal doesn't come all the way up so the clutch isn't engaged fully until I pull it up with my foot.  Temp went to 185.  I'll have to watch it to make sure it's good there.

We had my son, daughter and my daughter's friend from Japan here this week.  Each got a ride in the coupe and all were amazed that it didn't have seatbelts.  But, they all really enjoyed the rides.

I agree Merle but I'm not changing it now.  The wheels are powder coated.

I am loving the hell out of that shade of green. What is it called?

Not that I can use it. I live up a dirt road,so I can't have dark cars.

I live up a dirt road also.   99 corvette polo green.

Well, you live up a dirt and gravel road. I live up a dirt road on an island that floods. Besides the thick coat of dust in the summer just from cars passing by,I don't want to deal with mud thrown up under the car.  Especially not since I have flexibility programs and can't bend over and sometimes can't bend my knees.

mine stays in the garage when it's wet.  I also only have to drive about 3/4 of a mile till pavement.  I drive that 3/4 in 1st gear.  lol
