From Bath, ME we drove across the top of NH into the top of VT on hyw 22 to hwy 2 over the divide, called the AP then down to Middlebury. The rain up in the mountains was so fine there were no rain drops, yet we needed the wipers all the time. I've never experienced moisture in the air like that. We never saw the sky yet the drive was fantastic.

The bridge is on the VT / NY border, so we drove into NY. The Church is in Middlebury, VT.

Yup, know that kind of mist all too well, Mark. 110% humidity and gets into everything! I know "downtown" Middlebury pretty well, too. There was a MoPaR show at the Dodge dealer scheduled for last June 16 that I wanted to go to, but the weather was just dreadful. It's about 100 miles from me, and running a 200 mile round trip in the pouring rain isn't my idea of having fun with an old car.

Great pictures and looks like a fun drive. The longest drive I've done in my '37 is 72 miles. That was last month.

Thanx, it was. Days nice enough to attempt a long cruise have been few and far between this year. Made this run, two 200 milers,.....

..and a couple of 80 milers over to Hemmings Motor News Cruise Nights.

I'm on the other side of 495 near the Stow town line. Been to that show several times. Bolton orchard must've been where you ate lunch, good eats.

Sounds like a good idea. I go through Bolton on the way to the ATHS truck show in Hudson when I go. I like to grab lunch to go at the farm store there on Rt. 117.

I've written down your towns mentioned, so I can go there next year during our annual vacation to Maine.

Hey Lakota, can you explain is as few words possible how to make a left hand turn in Michigan???? It makes for interesting reading on Mapquest printouts....

^^X2.  I thought Jersey jughandle left turns were strange until I was in Michigan and had to deal with their system.

Some years ago I got onto the toll road that goes north out of Paramaus NJ. For a while I thought I would have to put in an order for a year of sandwiches. That's when I learned that six rights make a U-turn. After that I NEVER drove in NJ with less than a half a tank of fuel.

Yeah. The upside is that I drove for miles that day without seeing another car. The downside, as it is in Michigan, is that the cruising season up here is terribly short. And hey, you get the Woodward Dream Cruise every year, right?

Your right, Frankie, Dream Cruise is next month. 40K+ cars and 1 million people trying to occupy 16 miles of 8 lane divided highway. Last year, a couple of days before the Cruise, it took me 40 minutes to go 1 mile (imagine what it's like on the day OF the Cruise).

If it's a divided road, to make a Michigan Left, you go past the road you want to turn on. Then you get in a left turn only lane and turn back and make a right turn on the road you wanted. If it is a 3 lane road, center lane is for left turns. If it's 2 lanes, you make a normal left turn (and hope nobody rearends you).

Three rights

Your right, Don. Two wrongs don't make a right, but 3 rights make a left. Had to do that when my left turn signal bulb burned out.
