Todd B
I am a slow computer learner. It took all this time for me to get this far. What does the above box that says Topic Tags mean?
P15-D24
Taga are like key words based on the subject of post. They are optional. You add them to your post to make it easier to search for later on. They are useful for others searching to find similar topics.
olddodgeguy
I like the new look with one exception. These old eyes are having a hard time with the small red type on the post times and dates. Maybe a darker color? Thanx. Mike
P15-D24
I will see if I can find the the parameter to set the type color.
HanksB3B
I'm finding the new site great! Sure I'm somewhat sentimental about the old one, after all like so many of you I've spent a good deal of my time on it, but I find that the new site Saves me Time and there are a few features that are much better. P15-D24
The other thing you don't see yet it is much easier for me to add and update content. Due to the way the navigation bar was set up on the old site adding a new page tool as long as writing the article. Now it is literally a couple mouse clicks to add a new page. Young Ed
Hank those are ads. There have been ads since the switch to the new site. GTK is testing out a new type there is an announcement in that area of the forum.
HanksB3B
A bunch of you guys know that over the years I have maintained an indexed hyperlink list in Microsoft Word to threads that I found to be particularly useful, or written by members with a more in depth knowledge of a particular topic. When the web format of P15-D24 changed, I discovered my simple "Ctrl+Click" to Follow Link no longer worked. I emailed "GT" our web master who in turn took the initiative to contact the Internet Service Provider. The ISP was able to make it possible for the old hyperlink to point to the new address. I'm happy to say that years of information gathering still has the "Point-n-Shoot" capability. Now that...is a great forum. So thanks GT and thanks to all for making this the best place for old Mopar cars & trucks anywhere in the world. P.S. So if you ever think I'm real smart or have a photographic memory...now you know my trick. Hank Edited February 10, 2013 by HanksB3B
P15-D24
Thank you, and please update those links with new URL used by the new site. The old ones (with the www430.pair text) are redirected and updating with the currently URL will guarantee finding them in the future. HanksB3B
O.K. I'll do that. Thanks, Hank
Todd B
How do I reverse the order of the thread so the latest post is on top??
HanksB3B
You can't but one of the new features is to "View First Unread Post" by clicking on the small dot to the left of the thread title. If you have contributed to the thread a star will be used in lieu of the dot. It's a big time saver! Apittslife
I have tried to figure it out myself, but I just can't figure out how to get the lastest post in the thread to be on top.

Dave72dt
Previous forum had a little button you could push that took you to the last post which meant sometimes you had to back up to catch up. This one just takes you to the lfirst unread post in the thread which keeps you in sequence whith how they werte posted.
