Deadlines are my way of life, lol.....I live for the victory of beating them. I've missed many of my truck building dates, but would never take them out of the process. I mean, even if you give yourself an open ended finish date, I bet there are a few events that enter your mind...parade...favorite car show....son/daugther getting his/her licence....etc.... My big missed date was 9/15/2009...Bonneville.

timelines or deadlines...doesn't matter....as an engineer I live by them or die by them. In my life I set myself goals and deadlines, I abhore wasting time and dwaddling on projects. I am actually behind on self set goals for the truck, but at this point I should be able to at least drive in to the show this year, and plan on being "done" next year, but I do know I'll never really be done with this truck. But I look forward to my next project and planning that one out. This one just kind of happened.

Thanks for the good words of encouragment from everyone, it means a lot from you guys.

Hi Ed;

I hope you don't think I was being critical of Mark's approach.

Nope just saying I don't think he's gotten the bug lately but its been his plan all along.

I go to back to the 50s almost every year. This year my car started acting up last week so I'm hoping I got it sorted out! Now with the little one we can't take the pickup instead....
