Jim Saraceno Posted October 20, 2011 Report Posted October 20, 2011 (edited) Here are a couple of pictures taken at my best friend's son's wedding. I chauffeured the bride and her Dad to the wedding in style. Just had to share: http://ShariPhotography.zenfolio.com/p526582318/eb7d1abc http://ShariPhotography.zenfolio.com/p526582318/e48a1ff2 Ooops... I guess because it is a commercial site, it won't let me post the pictures, only the links. Edited October 20, 2011 by Jim Saraceno Quote

RobertKB Posted October 20, 2011 Report Posted October 20, 2011 Old cars and weddings are a marriage made in heaven! Nice pictures and thanks for sharing. Quote
littlemo Posted October 20, 2011 Report Posted October 20, 2011 Jim, my wife and I had a small photography studio for a while ( a little extra money never hurts) and shot lots of weddings. I can tell you from experience, those are "supper cool " photos. They'll cherish them forever. Thanks for sharing !! Cass, alias littlemo.... Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted October 21, 2011 Report Posted October 21, 2011 Looks like fun, Jim. We've done chauffeur duty for three young couples at our church. Quote
Dan Hiebert Posted October 21, 2011 Report Posted October 21, 2011 Cool! Excellent way to start a marriage, and now the new hubby has that old car seed planted, that the wife may not be so adverse to because of their "limousine". I chauffered for a friend's daughter's wedding when we were still in New Mexico. She'd seen the D24 out-and-about town, and pestered her dad for almost a year to ask us to play limo for her wedding. He'd thought I wouldn't go for it, but it was a lot of fun. Now my son is getting married in three weeks, and yours truly's D24 will once again transport a new couple. Quote

48P15Annie Posted October 21, 2011 Report Posted October 21, 2011 Very cool. I took my cousin, her boyfriend and 2 of their friends to their high school homecoming dance in Annie. Quote
Jim Saraceno Posted October 21, 2011 Author Report Posted October 21, 2011 I couldn't agree more of course it was my dodge and plymouth for us...... Ed, I loved the photos of your wedding. My favorite, of course, is the one where all the groomsmen are checking out the engine while you bride is standing all alone. I would have loved to reproduce that scene but with 103 degree temps, there wasn't a lot of interest in standing outside to take more pictures. Cool! Excellent way to start a marriage, and now the new hubby has that old car seed planted, that the wife may not be so adverse to because of their "limousine". The funny thing is the groom was a bit ambivalent about riding in the car in that heat but the bride took one look in the car and said "That's what we have fans for, I'm doing it!" Quote

That photo was my idea. I'll put a picture in here of that picture in the frame I bought for it. I see it everyday on my desk. We did it at one of our friends weddings that I was in with the Chysler 300 limo he rented too. Not quite as cool as with an old car. BTW that limo was a v6! I see that groom learned his lessons early about listening to his wife Quote
Jim Saraceno Posted October 21, 2011 Author Report Posted October 21, 2011 Yes Ed, that's the one. I just love it! And yes, the groom is a fast learner Quote
